Chaat Paradise has one of the best saag paneer recipe in the world! Mouth watering vegetarian food. Simple decor. I hope they reopen soon.
This place seems to have closed! We went yesterday, only to be disappointed because it's looks like it closed down or going through remodeling. Pls update online so others don't waste time.
Not thrilled with their practice of automatically adding 18% tip to the tab. Abuse of tipping is everywhere these days. Service was mediocre at best. Forgot one of items we ordered.
I like their customer services the guy is very kind and helpful and main thing is that he explained me throughly about the menu without getting frustrated so 5 stars from my side.
Loved the makke ki roti with saag!! Gobhi paratha was also good, with a lot of filling, but could be more spicy. Chaat basket was decent. Chaas and chai were okay..They have a huge variety in their menu. Service is also good.
Vegetarian options: Entire menu is vegetarian
The food was great. We got our food after waiting for about 10 minutes. But the bathroom isn't that clean, and we had to wait for them to clean the tables until we got to sit.
Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian.
Parking: It was at a big lot with many other stores. Sometimes the parking is full. You may have to park somewhere else and walk to the restaurant
We have been visiting this restaurant for many years and have always liked it. Quality is high and consistent, service is always with a smile.
We got bhel and dabeli, the portions are very tiny for the price you pay ($9 for one small dabeli portion - come-on ). Also, the food wasn't very flavorful.
Vegetarian options: It's all vegetarian.
Great place to come but u have to try to be here between normal hours when the good chefs are. Normally till around 2 then back fir dinner after 430
Simple , unpretentious ,superb Punjabi food ,low on oils/grease and fat.Perhaps 90% people get take out meals from here but we still enjoyed sitting and enjoyed the meal .
Restaurantji Recommends
I generally don't write bad reviews, I was very unsatisfied with the food today, my daughter wanted to eat gobi Manchurian, I was skeptical to order here, just gave it a chance but was more than disappointed, it was over powered with ketchup and very spicy it was 9.99$ put to trash ?, I just requested if he can cancel the samosa order and replace with bhel Puri, even that was not honored he said samosas were already done... Oh Really! was it freshly made for us the taste did not say so ? and the most surprising was we had to put the sugar for tea before it was served, he made us put the sugar in a Togo cup and then got the ☕...we never had this experience in any of the bay area restaurants.. a big no
This was my first time ordering from here and I guess my last as well. Ordered Aloo tikki w/ channa chaat and instead of aloo tikki it was ravaa vada with chole. Ordered makki di roti and I haven’t had this hard makki roti before. Kashmiri dum Aloo was on another level. I don’t know how to describe it. I don’t usually rate restaurants but had to this time. I hope they will learn from this review and improve their food quality and taste.
Ordered Thali - it costs around 17$ and it was average, I would try other restaurants for Thali next time.Rajma, daal, Chole, Raita - not that goodCabbage, Kheer, Veg korma, Roti- pretty good
The attitude of the staff was very high headed. We ordered Gobi Manchurian as starter and capsicum curry and kadai paneer as main course, and all three of them had the same gravy base. We did complain the same to the management but they were too high headed to acknowledge it. I would never recommend anyone going to this place. The only good thing was their chapatis/rotis without ghee which was freshly made.
Visited on a Saturday for dinner and the place was almost empty. Appetizers were barely passable. We ordered roti, sabji and biryani for main course. They served the biryani before the rotis, funnily. The appetizer (Gobi Manchurian), capsicum curry, and kadai paneer all had the same curry base, and everything was sweet. The only dish which was well made was the rotis. They were well roasted and thin. The staff did not acknowledge the same curry base when we mentioned it to them.
