Closed but not posted online. Went there for dinner and two guys just sitting in there (door was open) saying "closed, ownership changed" Okay...sooo??? Was really good when I went before though. Too bad. Wonder what will take its place.

The numbing noodles are absolutely incredible, and great service! We love coming here and saying hi to Tony.

A friend brought this as a meal delivery after we had a baby and it was fun to try the different soup and noodle dishes here. We tried: The big plate chicken with ramen noodles - I liked this a lot and though the bone in chicken pieces were tasty with a slight kick. My husband found this one a bit greasy though. Note that this one isn't soup based. Update: after watching the leftovers cook down overnight in our fridge and seeing how much fat solidified, he was right about how greasy it actually is! It's basically noodles tossed with garlic chili oil. :) Tomato braised beef noodle soup - This was one of the ones we liked best, and it wasn't as salty as the pork noodle. However if I drink the broth straight up, it's also a bit salty. Vegetarian noodle soup - I liked the ramen broth in this a lot, but the actual ingredients/toppings were just okay. The spinach noodles were different and yummy though! Pretty sure it's one of those instances where it's marketed as "healthy" but still 99% carbohydrate and 1% spinach though ;) Miso pork and shrimp balls - We liked this least. The broth somehow managed to be both salty and not very flavorful, and the meat was also not very flavorful. I'd want to revisit to try the cumin lamb and biang biang noodles other reviewers mentioned but of the things we tried so far, nothing was a "must try" and I would prefer a more traditional style of soup noodle like at Queen House. These felt a little bit more fusion or Americanized for US audiences and palates, just judging from the fact that cauliflower and broccoli were tossed into the soup bowls as vegetables (versus the more traditional Bok Choy or leafy greens). But I'm happy to have found this mom and pop shop to support!

A good place. Not one of my favorites. But the food is good. Average prices. Try Tomato Braised Beef Noodle Soup. One of the most delicious dishes for my taste in this restaurant. It looks like ramen. I don't really like the interior and I can hardly sit here for a long time. But good for a quick lunch or dinner. And I think it's time for you to update the menu.

Not my favorite style of Chinese food (according to the hubs, it's central China style so very greasy and with some spice). Got takeout for lunch on a weekend. We ordered: - Chicken karaage: ok this was actually really really good and I'd come back just for this haha - Dan dan noodles: we got it mild so unsure if that affected the flavor. It just tasted really greasy and meaty. Not enough sesame sauce/flavor in my opinion. It also had bean sprouts which I think ruined the dish :( - spicy beef noodle soup: my partner enjoyed this one but said it's not his favorite take. Not a place to go out of your way for but if you're in the area, it's a solid option.

Definitely enjoyed the beef noodle soup here. Hearty broth with tender chunks of beef. Even with no indoor dining, take out was still good. The noodles are super chewey. 3 Orders took about 20 minutes. No indoor dining Only take out Plenty of parking Credit cards accepted

This place rocks! The noodles whether dry noodles or with soup are absolutely delicious. It was always quite full when we came but we never had to stand in line. I love the Chongqing hot numbing spicy noodles soup and order it all the time. The name says it all. It is spicy and numbing, my absolute favorite flavors!!!

Robust generous, richly spiced. Delicious. Big flat fresh noodles match your appetite.

Lamb was dry but noodles were super good

TL;DR: Sprint here as fast as possible. Order the lamb. Have a happy belly. Overall: This place is hands down, amazing. Might be the best noodles in the Bay. Experience: Super clean interior (bathrooms included). Sits roughly 20-30 people, so could see there being a wait during busy non-Covid times. Food Item: 5/5 - Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand Ripped Biangbiang Noodle. Not my first time getting this, will never be my last. Perfect proportions of noodle to sauce to lamb to peppers/onions/mushrooms. Such a unique flavor that can't be replicated, and barely described. Nice spice level, without being too spicy. Lighter dish, not too heavy.

My friend was craving handpulled noodles so we decided to try this spot that I found on Yelp. We wanted to try a little bit of everything. From the small plates, we ordered the eggplant poppers, cucumber salad, & beef roll. Eggplant poppers were fried nicely. Their cucumber salad comes w/ sliced cucumbers covered in sesame sauce, which tasted very light. Beef roll was decent, could probably use more beef in it though. Big plates, we tried the spicy braised beef noodle soup & spicy cumin lamb biang biang noodles. Beef noodle soup comes w/ skinnier noodles, which were cooked just right. Soup tasted good w/ a slight kick. Spicy cumin lamb comes w/ the wide & thicker handpulled noodles. I liked the fixings in it (wood ear, lotus, peppers, etc.) Food was decent; however, service could be better. We were doing family style & wanted a bowl to share the noodle soup. We kindly asked one worker & he said "no, we don't have any, we only have small plates." My friend said we didn't mind using a takeout container bowl. He said we'd have to pay for it.. so we decided to ask another worker if we could use a spare bowl that they use to put their noodle soups in. In an aggressive tone, she said "NO, we don't have any extras, we'll have to wash them, we don't have any." It wasn't busy so I don't understand why we couldn't get a spare bowl.. instead, I just used the plate that the beef roll came in.

We were craving beef noodle soup after come back from Shang Artisan Noodle in Vegas (no relation). We decided to try Chang'an Artisan Noodle and it's fairly good. It's a tiny place (especially with socially distanced tables) run by only 1 server and 2 cooks, so prepare for a long wait on a weekend to be seated and to get your food. We ordered: - Eggplant "Poppers" ($8.50) - these were SO good. Light and super crispy, a super delicious fried pork and eggplant bite of heaven. Totally recommend these! - Red Oil Spicy Shrimp Wontons ($9) - these were not good at all, unfortunately. The red oil is bland (where's the subtle spiciness? The subtle sweetness?) and the shrimp wontons albeit tasted fresh had no flavor whatsoever - Beef Roll ($7.50) - they were sold out of the chicken karaage, so we got the beef roll instead. Definitely looks better than it tastes. The scallion pancake was a bit too salty, there is lettuce inside instead of cucumber, and the beef was a bit dry - Miso Pork & Shrimp Balls Noodle Soup with Biang Biang Noodle - (+$1 to sub the Biang Biang Noodle) SO really enjoyed this, but I didn't. The broth tastes complex like they've combined a lot of different flavors, but the one flavor that stood out to me the most was corn water (as if they boiled corn and used that water as the basis for the broth). The menu says there's soy milk in there, so to me, it tasted a bit funky, but SO liked it so to each his own. There are so many goodies in here though (who has ever had noodle soup with cauliflower, broccoli, and oyster mushrooms?). The biang biang noodle is yummy - fresh and chewy - Spicy Braised Beef Noodle Soup with Biang Biang Noodle - (+$1 to sub the Biang Biang Noodle) - the noodles were yummy, but the broth was not beefy enough and there was a hint of the numbing spiciness. The meat was ok, wish it was more tender and was brisket Probably wouldn't go back again, but definitely worth a try!

This review is based on only one dish: the shrimp garlic noodles- and it was DELICIOUS! A simple spot, but I would be glad to go here again just for those noodles.

Delicious. Best beef noodle soup in the Bay Area

We tried the vegetarian soup and the tofu curry with rice. Both were fresh and really flavorful. Enjoyed the food and would definitely eat here again.
