I really enjoy this cafe. They offer a well-curated drink selection and the staff is friendly. It’s a lively yet relaxed environment where you’ll often see kids and pets chilling. As an introvert, I find it the perfect 'safe spot' to take a break and find inspiration for my projects.

They don't have a list of allergens for their food which is unacceptable. We have a child allergic to eggs and nuts. We went all the way and the worker couldn't tell us if the pastry had egg in it so we couldn't order anything for our child. They weren't even trying to be understanding. This place is not inclusive nor safe for those with allergies and dietary restrictions.

Wonderfully tasteful treats. Their Gf is also outstanding and amazing. The craftsman in the title is well earned.

this has easily become one of my favorite coffee shops on the peninsula. I’ve ordered both their latte and dulce de leche latte, especially when I’m in the mood for something a little sweet.

their pastries and cakes are also very delicious. it’s a solid spot whether you’re stopping by for breakfast or just grabbing a sweet treat.

tip: they have guest parking available at the dean apartment, which makes visits convenient!

Not good at all. The coffee was cold; the muffin was ultra dry; the croissant felt stale and old. And the prices were exorbitant relative to what they served. Service was also very slow - we had to wait
20 mins for all items (6 total coffee and bakery items), which was excessive. Not going back.

I arrived at 3:32 with my two- and four-year-old. Parking took a few minutes—the setup is awkward, with very limited guest tfparking and a confusing entrance. When we finally got inside, we were told they were closed. We said we’d happily take anything they had left. The answer was still no—they wouldn’t serve us anything at all. A true masterclass in how to lose customers for life.

Food and drinks: very good.
Staff: very friendly.

We especially love the savory bakery, and they rotate the stuffing once in a while so I will not recommend specific bakeries but all are good!

We live in the dean and we are very happy about Craftsman and Wolves! Sometimes we even come here every day if possible hehe 😉

Our favorite drink is:
Chai Latte & Regular Latte (all with oat milk)

Breakfast is also pretty good, our favorite is Turkey Sandwich / our man in Havana

Parking is pretty easy too with the dean’s visitor 🅿️

Really good coffee and sandwiches. I love the bread that has a crunch but isn't super hard, and the chocolate croissant was good. Not too sweet, good subtle flavors

I did an online preorder for Craftsman and Wolves and was able to easily pick it up from the register.

We got the following items:

Apple Hibiscus Kouign Amann - not my favorite kouign amann. I am used to kouign amann that are more crisp and caramelized. These ones seemed a bit more fluffy and more sugary sweet than caramelized sugar.

French Dip Pain Suisse - my favorite of what we tried. I reheated it at home and it was delicious. The meat was really tender and flavorful with just the right amount of cheese.

PBJ Cookie - just a standard PB cookie. Not bad but nothing special.

S'mores Pain Suisse - I was very excited about this but to be quite honest, I didn't get much of a s'mores vibe. The filling didn't taste like much to me besides something sweet. I couldn't really distinguish anything that reminded me of s'mores.

Triple Chocolate Croissant - this was OK. When you get a bite of the middle with chocolate in it, it tastes chocolatey. Otherwise, I don't think it tasted very chocolatey. Some parts of it seemed a bit bitter like it may have been burned.

Valrhona Dark Chocolate Chip Cookie - I had read rave reviews about this cookie but I didn't find it to be anything special

Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and a free parking garage below the building

I bought pastries to eat at the venue as well as extra treats to take home with me. The food is as good as I remember the SF location. I look forward to returning and trying more of their savory menu items. For my first trip, I mainly got the bakery goods.

I got the Mexihana Mocha and the Croissant Sando (Smoked Ham, Swiss Cheese, Honey Mustard Aioli). The Mocha was not too sweet, is a bit spicy, and had a bit of bitterness that seems to come from dark chocolate. Very tasty. The croissant was recommended by one of staff, and it was delicious as well. The honey bacon in the croissant was a nice balance to the savory ham, which is a nice touch. The service is...OK. The young server who helped me may be excited and new at the job, so he was hovering, which after a while it felt somewhat intrusive. I'd give this place a try again since it's close by. Overall, it's a pricey spot, but you get what you paid for.
