Stopped by midday for a simple drink and had a really disappointing experience. There were only two customers in the entire place, yet it took a surprisingly long time just to get a bottled beer (not even on tap). When it finally came, the waitress had an unprofessional, dismissive attitude and even complained about being “short handed”, which made no sense considering how empty the place was. To make matters worse, she spent most of the time just standing around instead of helping.
If this is how service is when the place is nearly empty, I can’t imagine how bad it gets when it’s actually busy. Definitely won’t be coming back.

Love this place for IPAs and stuff but no where to hangout/ no bar. So its a sit down kinda place. No fun bartender to talk to inside. Hope that changes someday. Good food thats not pretentious. Popular for work parties.

This place has a very nice vibe. Need to go inside for ordering food. But you can sit on the benches outside and then order your beers through the QR menu. Very convenient. Prices are quite reasonable too.

Such friendly staff and amazing food! The cocktails were perfect—especially refreshing for a warm summer day. I had one of the bowls and it was super fresh, flavorful, and very filling. Definitely coming back!
Beer was good, and we didn't get food. There is one bathroom for everyone to use which makes no sense for a place of this size.

I ordered two burgers and a bratwurst for $60. We picked up the order before the scheduled time, and brought the food home immediately. The fries were cold and tasted horrible. We tasted one of the burgers and took a bite of the bratwurst. Both were edible, but not very good, to the point where we didn't want to eat any more.
I called the restaurant to tell them we were unhappy with the food and asked if they would refund it. They told me I had to bring the food back. I said I didn't want to bring it back if they weren't going to give me a refund, I would just throw it away, I didn't want to waste more of my time. They told me to bring it back.
So I brought it back, the owner took the food into the back, and told me the food was fine and he wasn't going to refund me. He didn't give me the food back, and didn't give me my money back, either. So I paid $60 for two bites. I don't recommend the burgers, and the owner wasted my time. I wish he would have just told me on the phone he wouldn't refund me, I would have understood.

This is an incredible beer house. The food and service are both excellent, and there are some great beer selections as well. The ambience reminds me of real beer houses in Munich, and there is outdoor seating which adds to the great outdoor feeling of downtown Mountain View.

Spicy Schnitzel was good, but the sampler platter was a bit bland. Pretzel could also be better, the sauce was too sweet. Beer selection was good, the flight is worth getting.
It's mostly Mediterranean, not so much a German beer house.
