Sad to see this place is currently closed! I hope they will open again in the near future. Though I personally think fresh dosa in-house tastes a lot better than take-out dosa. I'm really craving dosa and South Indian food. None to be found in countryside Japan currently. The dosa here is really nice and crispy. The chutneys and sambar are pretty good too. The masala deserves some more depth in spices and flavor, though. I'd love to try some of their other menu items someday!

The owner lady is my good acquaintance & friend, and I am very much aware of her admirable cooking skills since years. I remember telling her once that- "You have a magical touch of taste to the food you cook..!". She has it all what needs to run a restaurant..! Must give a try...??

This place is totally closed and it still says open online and order take away I parked in front of the store called them and checked .They already closed the business .they should remove from the Google search .

Misleading people, They are closed but are not disclosing that in Google maps or in Yelp, wasting people's time driving to the place and finding that they are closed. It's unprofessional.

Tiny little restaurant with nice people but we had a bad experience. They kept messing up our order and it took forever to come out. It seemed like others were having the same issues too. The food was decent but we are not coming back.

Update: Monika said there is still work going on and it'll take more time before it's ready to reopen, and meanwhile they have another restaurant, Dosa Point, at 840 Willow Rd, Menlo Park.

Drove out of my way to go here as another review mentioned they were open. They are still closed. I ended up at the taqueria next door. Doubt I'll be coming back for either place.
I had been here with couple of my office friends for lunch.. it was amazing! We tried aloo paratha and dosa... Everything was awesome.. I wanted to come here with my family but the location is temporarily closed. Please call them before you go..

Nice small Indian restaurant in mountain view. We have tried masala dosa, maysore dosa , idlee, vada , onion uttapam there couple of times ..food is good in taste and price are moderate.

Good dosa couldn't eat paratha because they had a mass order m. Chola bhatura was ok as it was too oily Ordered different kinds of dosa and all were good

Avoid this place. Bad service. There was over 30 mins left for restaurant to close, but lady at the counter says you can't order "paratha" as it takes long time to make. What?? Took forever to get a single dosa order to go and they gave me the wrong order. Order not packed properly, dosa and sauces thrown in randomly into a bag in a messy way. Staff couldn't bother to clean up tables, just leaving leftover food plates unattended. Gross. There are plenty of other options in South Bay for dosas and much better service.
