Seems like it's closed. What a pity! Loved the friendly atmosphere, great service, and good food.

restaurant has been closed for over a year. What a shame. They had great Mexican food at reasonable prices. Maybe some day they will reopen??

To my knowledge, this restaurant has been closed for over a year. Hopefully, it will open again soon. I really miss the good food.

Had the best omlette (Red bean chili) I've ever had to this day here one morning between Grateful Dead shows at Shoreline Amphitheater back in 1985! Glad to see they're still around.

Great environment and very personal service. The food was fresh and yummy. Will easily recommend this spot to others. Affordable rates and large portions. Good job.

Institution! Been coming here my whole life. Tex-Mex is there anything better than waffle fries with nacho toppings?? I think not. And I'm a steak tacos guy but they have so much variety here. Great homemade dressing on side salads. 5 STARS

Truly hearty, fresh, homemade, Authentic Tex Mex. The dark red salsa is smoky as Ted Cruz's Gunbarrel on the Fourth of July ! The Chicken Mole Wet Burrito, is a delectable balance of Chocolate and complex earthiness, Oaxaca would be proud !!! Warm, sincere, attentive staff.. Very clean, (spotless, actually) My new favorite Mexican in Mountain View.

Best Mexican food in our area. Everything is freshly prepared. Love this restaurant!

I will probably give them another chance just try their margaritas and Sangria in their awesome back deck. But the food was pretty tasteless even the salsa.

No more bar I used to stop in to El Paso Cafe on Friday afternoons from time to time for nachos and beer, sometimes a bit of tequila or sangria. I went in last Friday - no bar. No alcoholic drinks at all. I used to enjoy the food well enough but I didn't stay to try it to see if it was the same. Very disappointed that you can't get a good drink there any more. I would have given 4 stars based on the food and drink, but I'll kick it down to 3.

Good small non fancy place. Tostada was huge and quite good. Chips and salsa were fresh.

Used to love this place when it was the original owners. Now it closes every day at 4pm? D**** Food is still fantastic must admit.

They used to serve breakfast Friday, Saturday, Sunday. It was worth getting up early to go there, utterly delicious. New owner has improved food quality a lot. Try Chilaquiles!
