I came there on weekend and didn’t like the place. Atmosphere was unfriendly and uncomfortable. The food was poor. And the cleanliness was low. I don’t recommend this place

Terrible restaurant. The owner was extremely rude, which completely ruined the experience. The food is definitely not worth the price — poor quality and overpriced. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this plac

This place is a gem. They consistently produce fresh and delicious sandwiches, and incredibly fast. Once I timed them and they brought my order to me at my table in 90 seconds. Great place if you like sprouts in your sandwich. I also appreciate their commitment to reducing waste by using real flatware and glassware

Hands down my new favorite sandwich spot. Manuel was so kind and hospitable. Gave me some free bacon right out the oven while I waited for my roast beef sandwich. Incredible. I will be coming here on a regular basis now.

They don't have coffee which is what I wanted.
This is the most welcoming and friendly Eric's I have ever been to. The man behind the counter treats everyone like an old friend. Other restaurants should take note

Great sandwiches and tasty soup in a nice atmosphere. The best part—they keep napkins on the table, which I really appreciate.
They have the Farmer’s Market sandwich and a mixed vegetable soup that are vegan. In Fall 2024, they also tried out an Impossible Chicken wrap but I never got the chance to try it before it was discontinued. The sandwich is pretty good: lots of different vegetables and the bread is moist but substantial enough to contain everything. The soup isn’t particularly good, but it’s fine. Had one instance where they gave me a sourdough bowl with mold on it. Erik’s has a kitschy atmosphere inside and the staff are really friendly. It’s nice to stop by and get picnic supplies before heading to Cuesta Park.
This place makes a great gluten free sandwich. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I wandered into Erik's DeliCafe at this location after a long, hot(97°F) bike ride into the foothills South of this location, during a stay for work at a hotel off El Camino Real nearby. The salad bowl they served - "Baja Fresh..." was beyond delicious and the dressing made all of the genuinely fresh parts of it even better. Chicken was perfect and no brown lettuce anywhere. Clearly they had curated their supplies.
I was served with a sturdy, paper take-out bag with adequate napkins and proper plastic-ware, suitable for eating salad and not just soup. This, alone, is alarmingly rare in present times.
Will be back while I stay in Mountain View.

I’ve been a regular customer to Erik’s in the past 30 years and to this location in the past 5 years. I recently found their food quality has gone down. I used to love their Farmer’s Market sandwich. The bread was fresh and soft, the dressing was delicious. Now their bread is dry and hard, there is not enough dressing. I don’t enjoy my sandwich anymore! Please bring the quality back!
