Absolutely some of the best vegan food I’ve had. Had wonton soup, duck and chicken chow mein. I highly recommend every one of these dishes. My 4 year old also kept asking for more too!

This place is great, they have perfect vegan interpretations of Chinese-American classics like sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and wonton soup. Our favourite was the Hongkong crispy fried noodles. The owner of the place is super sweet, she was so caring and fun and genuine…. She started running vegetarian Chinese places in the bay area nearly 40 years ago, quite an icon! :)

The chunks were just more of a plant based meat

They mainly use paper boxes for their packaging which was nice to see, but they do use regular white plastic shell containers sometimes too, and apparently other plastic containers for soups and the duck dish. Would be great to see them transition to fully paper or aluminum containers in the future!

We got takeout from here for Lunar New Year, and the owner was very kind and personable and packed the order herself! My personal favorites were the scallion pancakes, the “chicken” chow mein, and the vegan chocolate cake.
