Gochi Japanese Fusion Tapas offers a unique and delightful dining experience with really tasty Japanese food. The restaurant is known for its great-tasting food and fusion as fusion should be. The clay pots are a must-try, and the eel clay pot rice is to die for and their most popular item. Diners have been impressed with interesting dishes such as the carpaccio, unagi meshi, veggie tempura, and daikon salad. The renkon hasamige was good, but probably wouldn’t get it again unless craving lotus root. The hiyashi tomatoes were good but pretty much just sliced tomatoes. The uni on a fried rice ball can be skipped. The lychee soy milk sorbet was really strong in lychee flavor.
The restaurant is a great spot for celebrations and is accommodating towards children. Parking is readily available, with a large number of free parking spots right in front. Reservations are recommended to ensure a table.
The staff was very nice and attentive, full of smiles, but did seem pretty stressed and stretched thin, and sometimes hard to get attention. Gochi is an unassuming restaurant, packed to the gills. It’s a cult favorite. The match crème brûlée is really liked. Gochi Japanese Fusion Tapas offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience with a focus on flavorful, Japanese-inspired dishes and a comfortable, casual atmosphere.
