I was waiting for simple fried rice for 40 mins and did not get it. Even three teams came before me finished their dishes, worst experience totally ruined Saturday afternoon

I had been fond of this restaurant for the last three years, but this is so bad that I don’t think I will ever come back

Food is always great, but be warned: Takeout takes longer than they estimate. Multiple times, I have ordered takeout only to be told it would take 10 or 20 minutes longer than the estimated wait time.

I enjoyed the food and service. This was my second time and we ordered different items each time. Not disappointed at all! My review is mainly because of their courtesy. We had lost our keys and called them enquiring about it. They called up their servers from the previous night and actually called to let us know that they didn’t have it!!!! How nice is that! Just another visit for me to keep going there! Thank you all at Khao Kang 🙏

This is a very honest review. This restaurant is a 10 min walk from our office and we decided to try it. Given all the positive reviews. Well, those reviews must have been written by BOTs because our experience was completely different.
Service - is like a clown show. Short staffed and stumbling around. Don't expect much here at all.
Food - probably the worst food we've ever had. This beef dish was nothing but gristle. The lowest grade of meat possible. We also got the chicken skewers. Extra dry as if they've been cooked 10 or 11 times. You know, cook them again to warm them up. Spicy Eggplant - again - a major disappointment.
Atmosphere - don't expect much in a run down strip mall. The AC wasn't on and it was hot. I guess they're trying to save on the electric bill.
In closing, of the 6 of us. We all agree - never again.

Busy when we arrived but got seated fairly quickly. Excellent service from the friendly staff. Spoke with one of the patrons who drove down from Berkeley for his dinner here.
Delicious soup, green curry, fried tofu, and chicken with noodles.
Reasonable prices compared to Castro Street restaurants.
Definitely come again.

This is the kind of restaurant that keeps you coming back! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with soft traditional music playing in the background and an elegant yet relaxed setting. The service was impeccable—our server was so kind and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was simply outstanding! The Tom Yum Soup were packed with bold flavors and the perfect amount of spice. The Thai iced tea was rich and creamy, balancing the heat of the meal beautifully. Every dish tasted fresh and homemade. If you’re looking for incredible Thai cuisine, this is the spot!

food is OK, though a bit salty. The waiting time is too long. 30mins for one dish…

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!
Waited for 30min to be seated. Then another 25min for minced pork rice. Only two staff on a busy Friday night. You won’t be getting any service at all.

The restaurant is clean and the decor is nice. The food tasted okay. The pad see ew was fine. The kow prik kang was too salty. The quantity is acceptable. The price was about $3 to $5 more than it should be based on quantity and quality. Compared to the other Thai restaurants in the South Bay Area it’s not bad but also not amazing.
