The food was very disappointing. It completely lacked any flavor. Lemon chicken was mostly breeding not much chicken and no flavor. Broccoli chicken seemed like chicken was steamed and no flavor. kung poa chichen did not even taste like chicken and seemed like boiled chicken.

The only good thing was steamed rice.

We held a reception at Kirin for 50 people and everyone was very pleased with the food and the service was very attentive. The lobster, soup, fish and scallops dishes were all very good.

My friends and I will certainly be coming back.

They don’t do first come first serve, especially the rude lady, if you try to ask how much longer you have to wait she will just ignore you

Welp, no reason to go here anymore. The new owners got rid of many of my go-to dishes and removed the best (probably most expensive) ingredients from the remaining ones. We have been regulars since before the pandemic, so this feels like the end of an era. Will have to find a new Americanized Chinese in the area, which was a bear of a chore in the first place (the west coast is crawling with too-sweet Americanized Chinese restaurants for this former east coaster, so the search was a minefield the first time around).

Food is ok but service can be improved. Our order was processed inaccurately (incorrect weight of seafood, missing rice).

An amazing find! Honestly can’t go wrong with anything on the menu; my favorites were the lobster and the sizzling beef. The lobsters and crab are literally fresh out of tank! The staff were so friendly and attentive, and the entire space feels like an intimate family restaurant. Will definitely be coming back!

Very delicious Chinese food with friendly staff!

We came on for a Thursday dinner and the staff were very attentive which added to the cozy atmosphere.

We ordered 4 dishes and their signature fried rice. They were all amazing and the portions were very generous.

Glad to have found this gem in Santa Rosa and we will be sure to come back!

I had an amazing dining experience at kirin house
The food was absolutely outstanding — the seafood was incredibly fresh, the chicken was tender and flavorful, and every dish was beautifully presented. My personal favorites were the prawns and lobster, cooked to perfection and full of flavor.

The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for gatherings with family and friends. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal.

If you’re looking for authentic flavors, generous portions, and a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely worth five stars!

Very authentic and delicious Chinese food.
We ordered their lunch specials which include soup, rice and a spring roll. The soup was great, very flavorful with a little bit of a kick to it.

As our mains we ordered the Mongolian beef and the broccoli beef. I have to say that the Mongolian beef was one of the very best I've ever had. The sauce was absolutely scrumptious, incredibly rich and flavorful.
The beef and broccoli was good but nothing compared to the Mongolian beef.

Not knowing they included one in the lunch specials, we ordered the spring roll appetizer which honestly was not my favorite.

I'd definitely recommend it and will be coming back soon.

Had Mapo Tofu - the tofu was not even soaked well. Didn’t have the taste that I generally have at good restaurants. The sauce of Mapo Tofu doesn’t taste authentic.

And not sure why it’s priced $23+ for the lunch portion. Which was still fine. But the taste doesn’t taste like Mapo Tofu. Feels like tofu was just put there recently

I placed an order using DoorDash or ordered chicken chow mein, sweet-and-sour pork and hot and sour soup. I didn’t get chicken chow mein. I got Pancit, not chow mein. I ordered hot and sour soup, so why do they call it hot and sour. And the sweet-and-sour pork the breading was so mushy and I don’t know what it is with their sweet-and-sour sauce cause that didn’t taste like normal sweet-and-sour sauce. 10 thumbs down on this one.
