Beef pho was delicious and so was the Thai iced tea. The service was OK, the restaurant was pretty full with only one waiter - so it wasn't his fault, he just didn't have the band width to serve so many tables.

Love to find out that my favorite go-to-pho is back alive! There were at Cupertino and I was shocked when find out they were closing due to repurpose of land. Anyway, food quality at this mtn view location is the same! Nice broth, great quality and beef! And good service! What's more can I ask for.

kobe pho? i must check it out. tried the kobe beef broth and kobe rare steak. it was $16 compared to $12 for their regular beef broth/rare steak so it wasnt too big of a difference for premium meats. the rare steak came out rare which was surprisingly amazing. most of the time its cooked and after it sits in the broth longer, it gets over cooked and chewy. this meat was tender and soft. definitely could tell a difference. the broth was clean and full of flavor but i would have to do a side by side comparison to really see the difference in the kobe bone vs regular beef bone flavors. overall a great tasting bowl of pho with all the typical fixings. they offer indoor and outdoor seating. this place is an extension of xanh it seems like because i see the waiter walking back and forth between both and im sure they use the same kitchen. this seems like xanhs sister that now serves pho.

I used to go to their old location in cupertino all the time and loved them then. Their new location in MV is just as good! Best pho broth in town, big portions, excellent meat, and great service. Glad I re-found this place.

Solid Vietnamese fare, but nothing special. Service was horrible! We were the only ones seated inside. The wait staff never came to our table without me asking. We had to ask to order. We had to ask for water. We had to ask for chili and hoisin sauce. The pho didn't come with the standard side plate of basil/sprouts/pepper/lime. Had to ask for that too!! And of course, we sat there with empty plates and bowls and had to ask for our check. The wait staff was more focused on takeout/grub hub than on the customers who drove, parked and walked in (that would be us). Too many other Vietnamese restaurants with similar food but WAY better service. We won't return.

They moved from Cupertino to downtown Mountain View recently. We had been to their Cupertino location many times and always loved it. Excellent pho. Good price. Great service. Will def be back!!

Great to see Kobe Pho & Grill have a storefront in Mountain View in relocation from Cupertino. Nice outdoor dining area and looking inside, they also have a nice indoor as well. Service was friendly and timely. I was excited to enjoy their 17. Veggie Pho and 6. Vegetarian Spring Rolls at the new location. Unfortunately i was not as impressed with the flavors with either dishes. The vegetarian spring rolls had the nice crunch in the center but the peanut was overly sweet. I appreciate that they do not use MSG but the veggie pho was quite in broth plain to what I remember enjoying at the Cupertino location and compared to other veggie/vegan phos that also do not use MSG in the Peninsula.

We stopped by here to take care of our pho craving :)) And so glad we did. This is located at the tail end of the Mountain View Castro st downtown and close to the Caltrain Railroad. The ambience of the restaurant inside is very nice .. though they have limited outdoor seating. We got the kids bowl with barbecue chicken, the Kobe Pho Special and And the chicken pho. All these items were great and specifically the chicken pho had a very nice tender chicken. The Broth were very flavorful And seemed of high-quality. The staff is friendly here and the manager also stopped by for a quick check-in which was appreciated. We will definitely visit this place again when in the neighborhood.

I was so sad that they closed the Cupertino location but now I'm so happy they are open in Mountain View. Ordered a pickup yesterday and everything tasted the same as before.

We called in the evening to check on wait times, and we were able to secure a table for a semi-large group. The waiter was very quick on setting up our tables together and we were seated immediately. We sat down and our menus were given. Iced water in plastic cups were served shortly after without us asking, which we appreciated. We were able to order and have our first spring rolls come out all within the time span of around 20 minutes. The problem was waiting for the pho. I had ordered #20 which was the Kobe Steak Pho. The waiter heard me clearly, nodded, wrote down on his notepad my order, and then asked for the next order from another member of our table. It took around an hour for our first bowls of pho to be served. A couple who came after us had been served first. We were starving at this point as we had devoured all of our spring rolls and drank all of our water (it took them a while to refill our water). We even all went to the bathroom, which by the way is not very sanitary. They clearly had not clean their women's bathroom in a very long time, for example their sink had yellow grime on it and the seat cover box was empty. When they finished bringing all the bowls out, they left my table empty and said they didn't have my order! I told them again that I wanted #20 and they brought a bowl out for me fairly quickly and apologized. They began to become more attentive of the water too and brought more jugs for us to refill our cups. At this point, I'm devouring my pho and it of course is delicious and put an end to my "hangry". The vietnamese coffee is really good too. The kobe meat was very soft and savory. The soup base itself though was just bland and not flavorful, but I had put in a lot of bean sprouts, mint leaves, lemon, and hot sauce which made up for it (and I recommend adding them in too for any pho in general!). The peanut sauce was a little weak and liquidy, but their fish sauce was good. Overall, the Kobe beef was pretty good and I appreciate the staff. There were 3 waiters that I could see, at least on our side (there's a bar in the back and another room though a door on the right side of the wall filled with people I wouldn't see), and they were running around working very hard. I would give them 5 stars if they did not have us wait for around an hour before serving our food (a couple who came after us got served both of their pho first), were more cleanly in the bathroom, didn't forget my order, put more flavor in the food, and were more attentive. We paid for the food and a surcharge was included. As soon as the waiter took the check, he was off. We quickly exited the restaurant in silence and with no goodbye.

Great place to have pho overall and I'm very pleased with the service and food. The broth was great.
