Had a wonderful birthday lunch celebration for my friend, able to get a nice window seat. Food are tasty and big size! Manager kept refilling ice tea for me while I finished fast :) At the end got a very lovely tiramisu cake with candle for my friend's birthday! Will go there again!
For the overpriced place like this food was bland, small and nothing special. I got duck breast it came with 3 pieces of asparagus 😂. And I asked for veggies instead of rice. Veggies looked boiled and bland. Ambiance was plain, nothing special. I appreciated how empty it was though. It was nice to sit in peace without too many people around.

Great menu selections, food was delicious and came out fast. Appetizer portions are small so order several. Grilled octopus was delicious as were the arancini but the calamari were too thick and tough. Branzino, seafood pappardelle, mushroom truffle ravioli were very good but the star was actually the Cordon Bleu, two large stuffed chicken breasts were so juicy and tender. Also noteworthy was the beet salad. This is a small kitchen and amazed they can deliver so quickly. Service was also topnotch, our waiter happily accommodated with our requests and even took photos. Dishes cleared quickly. Located in the heart of Mtn View with outside seating (and a band was performing close by).
Great service, delicious food.
Thank you for cooking duck for our lunch 💕

Forget all those trendy restaurants. Our experience at this restaurant was superb. I highly recommend the Smoked Salmon Crostini and the Goat cheese with caramelized onions. Everything from the cocktails to the attentive server to the tiramisu was outstanding. And the prices were refreshingly reasonable. We will return!! Soon!
We had a delicious experience at La Fontaine! We ate outside thanks to the warm weather. Not noisy and it was easy to carry on a conversation. The smoked salmon crostini was very tasty and the crostini was crispy, but not hard. The appetizer for 2 provides a nice selection of 4 items all of which were delicious but I especially like the prosciutto wrapped melon! The melon was ripe and sweet and the prosciutto was flavorful. The Strawberry and Spinach salad was fresh and tasty. Topped our meal off with their special chocolate sponge cake and a mousse filling with strawberries and blueberries. We shall return again to enjoy some more of their menu items!
One of the best restaurants for date nights. We had a great time there and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Highly recommend it! 🤝

It was my wife's birthday, and the staff really took care of our rambunctious family party!

We all had very tasty meals, and the service was excellent. A great place to celebrate a special occasion.
Had been here on a Friday evening, Bruschetta was so good and so was the Eggplant Gratin.
Was very disappointed with Capellini la Pomme’d or - over cooked and bland!
Not going back to this place ever again!

We had a wonderful meal and the service was great. Thank you Norma for seating us at the nice table and keeping our glasses filled. Table bread was lightly toasted with a side of olive oil and herbs. The decor was really nice, cozy and warm. We had calamari, seafood pappardelle, meatballs burgundy, braised short ribs, cream of broccoli soup, beet salad, tiramisu and cappuccinos. All were really tasty and the portions were just right. This was our first time at La Fontaine and we plan to return. Highly recommend La Fontaine for good food, professional service and warm ambiance.
I really liked the vegetarian options, cocktails and ambience. My favorite item was the mushroom ravioli. The desserts and cocktails were also very good, I recommend the chocolate temptation if you're a chocolate fan and the tiramisu was also good. I also tried the the vegetarian and golden margherita pizzas, and angel hair pomodoro pasta and they were also good (recommend the ravioli over all of them though). Definitely one entee per person based on the portion sizes. For starters, the pistachio crusted goat cheese is worth it if you haven't tried before. Good ambience in a busy location.
