Was a solid local go to even though pricing rose over time. Portions were ok. Under new name and now literally less than half portion size. Tried twice, same results. This is a no go.

I recently visited Lucky Bistros, a Chinese restaurant under new management, and I wanted to share my experience. From what I observed, they’re making genuine efforts to modernize their approach and better serve the community. They still have the same cooks and methods, but they’re clearly committed to improvement and quality.

It’s unfortunate because I feel some competitors may have tried to paint this place in a negative light, possibly through complaints. Despite this, Lucky Bistros is trying hard to create a positive dining experience. When I was there, I noticed some people coming in only to criticize, which felt unfair given how accommodating and attentive the staff was. For example, I saw someone complain about allergies, and even though the staff assured them everything was prepared safely, the customer left without ordering. As someone observing, it seemed the restaurant was doing everything it could to meet people’s needs.

Personally, I had a great experience. I loved the quality of the food and the thoughtful presentation, even down to the containers they used. I believe this restaurant deserves more support from the community. I encourage everyone to give it a chance, and I hope others will spread the word to friends and family.

Have eaten at Luckys restaurant or had takeout well over 100 times, always good. last night we got takeout and it was not edible.Chinese chicken salad was soggy, wilted and soaked in dressing. Spring rolls were wet and soggy. We threw it all out. Not sure if they have new owners or a new chef or just an off night. Will try their food one more time to see if maybe this was just a fluke.

This is the saltiest food I have ever tasted. I had to throw out my order of green bean chicken

The people posting about the bad portions are just wrong. Got a medium fried rice after picking up some fish at 99 Ranch and the lady filled it to the top scooped more and pressed it down so more could fit…absolutely diva

Awful service, the lady at the front was taking phone orders while ignoring the people standing in line waiting to order.

My mom dropped by to pick up some food and kindly asked the lady for a fresh batch. They said, and I quote “we’re not making anymore fresh today.” It was 4:00 in the afternoon. They close at 8:30 or 9:00. The staff is always rude and hesitate to serve a decent portion size.Lastly, they had the audacity to serve my mom this disgusting, old, dry food. Shame on you. This is the type of stuff you see on the show Kitchen Nightmares. Y’all need to step your game up. Luckys was once a great place.Don’t call yourself a bistro if you’re going to sell this to your customers.

They are pressured to buy food quickly and all the time in a bad mood and the food is a little dry from the line
They force you to buy from the most expensive menu

Good inexpensive option that is tasty and caters to a more western audience but is still authentic if you want it to be. I must admit I do love American Chinese food. Fast service and good for young kids when in a hurry. We adults also genuinely enjoyed the food, as did our somewhat picky toddler.
