Another place for amazing pastries and tea/coffee spot. Love this place for the food and service.

Maison Alyzee in downtown Mountain View promises a taste of Parisian elegance, and it delivers on the visual front. The bakery boasts a charming atmosphere - perfect for a quick coffee and pastry break. However, it fell short in terms of flavors. Lovely Ambiance: Stepping into Maison Alyzee feels like stepping into a quaint Parisian cafe. The space is clean and inviting, perfect for a casual catch-up with friends or a solo moment of indulgence. Eye-Catching Treats: There's no denying the artistry behind the pastries at Maison Alyzee. Each sweet creation is a masterpiece, a delightful display of colors, textures, and intricate designs. They're perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth and your Instagram feed. While the pastries are undeniably beautiful, the taste itself didn't quite live up to the initial impression. They were pleasant but lacked that extra oomph or unique flavor profile you might expect from such a visually stunning display. I tried their signature chocolate tart cake. The hazelnut praline flavor was very mild, which is what I was looking forward to. The Verdict: Maison Alyzee is a lovely spot for a quick coffee break and a visually delightful pastry. However, these sweet delights can be a bit or miss.

The chocolate fondant is absolutely splendid. GET IT. All other pastries looked amazing. I will be back to try more of them. The Americano was decent but not outstanding. I LOVE Mr. Espresso's beans, which they do use, but I think either the technique, the grinds measurement, or the freshness of the coffee needs a bit of improvement.

Preorder for Chinese new years items: Yuzu Cream Cake - Amazing cake! Creamy, soft interior, flavor is lightly sweet with a tart touch. Black sesame cream on top also was so good! Black sesame was strong in flavor.

My review is between 4 and 5, but rounding it down. I definitely want to come back and try other options here. We ordered Pistachio tart, Tiramisu, Vanilla flan, macarons, lavender latte and drip coffee. Our favorite was the Tiramisu and the least favorite was the vanilla flan. I'd not recommend the flan. It was borderline rubbery and the crust was soggy-bottoms. Lavender latte was another let down. It was lukewarm and really didn't taste like anything. Not lavender, not coffee. The ambiance is nice, but the place gets very crowded. The weather was nice and we were able to grab an outside table, but the indoor seating is def not enough to keep up with the footfall. Overall a nice place for a dessert fix right in the middle of the charming Mountain View downtown.

This place is good, it's just that when you pick up they ask you to confirm your orders and they still don't give them to you

The croissant is good, texture and crunchy. But the desserts are a little pricy. We can find more choices around the Bay.

Maison Alyzee offers a variety of desserts and pastries which I truly enjoyed. While it's a little steep on their price point (starting $10 and up), but I could tell they used quality ingredients. I mostly enjoyed their desserts because they weren't overly sweet, and had the right balance. Their mango dessert was filled with mango chunks inside, a mix of sweetness and tartness. The caramel hazelnut "cake" was also delicious. The wafer added a crunchy texture, making the dessert even better.

NO WHERE IN CALI, SOCAL NOR NORCAL...TODAY Purchase such an array of Beau tres' manifique Desserts of Patissiere class right out of Burgundy and Paris of such caliber. I was born in Chambourd region and not seen so many alike these. Ol' LA Boulange didn't even touch these Artistry confections! They don't even sell pre made petite fours nor Strawberries romanoff, [except via Pre-Order, if that. Matte nois, I share with you a part of France, realistic not fluffy PBaquette, but REAL. O M G IM IN HEAVEN, YESa 5. 7 if it went from 5 to 7 yelp stars. Don't believe me?? Go there and make a day out of it stroll street sidewalks post engourgement with hot Tea or Caffe' after. Unbelievable, we are so blessed to have here in NorCal let alone the Bay Area. No one to TOP to date. Currently, surprised they are not in SF. Dare You that haven't dined here yet! Never been to Burlingame downtown, NOW you have a reason.

Their pastries are still terrific, but I feel like I'm getting shafted by the line system. When I come in, I stand at the sign that says, "Line starts here". And then I see people walking right past me from the door to the cash register. Are you trying to create the Busculeur experience of a true Parisian establishment? Although the pastries taste great, the line system left a very bad taste in my mouth.

A local favorite of mine whenever I visit Mountain View. I love their paris brest and almond croissant. I actually am not a fan of almond croissant due to the imitation almond paste taste that almost tastes too striking and alcohol-ey. But the almond croissant at Maison Alyzee was the only one I've had that was not so. The desserts are great, just a bit too pricey. I felt that the prices of the croissants were reasonable. Employees are kind and friendly!

For 20$ and 2 desserts it definitely tastes good just not the best I have had. The atmosphere and service is amazing though.

Stopped by for breakfast today, I ordered the chocolate croissant ($6.25) and a chai latte with vanilla ($6.75). The croissant was huge and the chai latte was very in volume. For the price, I was expecting more in either volume or flavor. I also got two of the mini cakes to-go, a 100% Pistachio ($12) and the strawberry fruit tart ($9.75). I think it's worth trying out if you are in the neighborhood.

Cakes are beautifully made with care and love. They taste really fresh. Environment is nice however the service is not on par with the food. Some servers treat this place like fast-food restaurant and are rude.
