Great food. And amazing coffee. The owners are genuinely nice people. One of the best lunch spots on Castro Street.

The falafel here is the best in the bay, no question. The chicken shawarma, hummus, and tabbouleh are also excellent. I love getting the chicken shawarma plate with hummus and tabbouleh as my two sides, and a side order of falafel, and putting some of their white sauce and hot sauce on everything, it’s truly a top tier meal! Also, you can get a delicious coffee or Yemeni tea after and there’s a huge selection of unique and delicious desserts. We’re so lucky to have this restaurant in the South Bay.

I really like the chicken kebab plate. The chicken is great quality and the sides are just so fresh and delicious. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood.

I had lunch here today and it was excellent. Chicken kabobs were perfectly cooked. The service was good and the environment was pleasant. After lunch I had a small piece of Baklava and a Turkish Coffee and I’ve got to say that needs to be a requirement. It’s mighty good. They have a very nice selection of Turkish delights, Baklava, and some other cakes.

I saw a lot of people hanging out and eating at Mediterranean grill house on a Saturday evening which gave me the impression that it must be an amazing place. The next day I decided to try it for dinner. I ordered a kofta plate with tabbouleh and babaganoush and a beef swarma plate with hummus and babaganoush. I also got a side of Mediterranean salad. The kofta was decent but I’ve definitely had better. The beef swarma was awful—dry, horrible texture, flavorless. Then the most egregious thing was how sour everything was. The tabbouleh and the Mediterranean salad have the same lemon dressing which was extremely sour. The babaganoush is also sour. The hummus was bland. It was really disappointing and there was a point where despite being very hungry, I couldn’t keep eating because of how sour everything was in sum. It was also extremely expensive for not very much value. They were supposed to give us four pita. 2/plate and they gave us 3 for some reason. Each plate was ~$20 and we’re still hungry afterwards. The salad was $6 for a side. I spent $50 in total for a casual dinner. I’m very disappointed.

Love the falafel wrap. The people there are super nice and flexible with orders. The food comes out pretty quick too.

I went there for lunch around noon on a Friday. It's on Castro between Church and High School streets. There is street parking and an underground lot behind the Wells Fargo shared with St. Joseph Church. There is an order counter with a menu board above. I ordered the Lamb Kebab, medium rare, plate with Hummus and Garlic Potatoes. I was given a number stand to place at my table and waited a short time for my meal to be delivered along with 4 quarters of Pita bread and Tzatziki sauce. It's a clean table and chair interior for about 30 people. There is dining outside also.

My four large lamb cubes were mostly medium rare, lightly salted and with Mediterranean spices. The long grain rice was very good, soft and moist. The Hummus had good lemon and Tahini flavor and the garlic potatoes were soft and mildly flavored. The Pita bread was warm and soft.

Everything was delicious, quality was very good and quantity also, I took most of the bread and Hummus home. Service was prompt and helpful. Definitely repeatable. Your clothes and hair will acquire the grilled meat odors, the grill and dining area are not separated, be warned.

Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian plates.

I ate outside at this truly elegant but deceptively simple restaurant. The Kurt's Mann was tender and perfectly. The falafel was perfectly crisp with just the right amount of heat. Eat outside and enjoy the beauty of Castro street
