A fine Japanese restaurant with a few good dishes. The best was the chicken katsu, which was fresh and perfectly crispy, and the delicious salmon teriyaki. I definitely recommend those. The miso soup was solid. The basic California roll was stale, especially the rice, but was perfectly fine. The yellowtail sashimi had great texture but has a faint taste of lemon juice. The tempura was generally good, although the batter was dense and soggy in some places, and some vegetables were bitter.

Fresh sushi, great prices, hot tea. The lamps remind you of the old times. Love this place.
Being that I came during dinner I was a little concerned to see the place empty. But I see why, the prices are a little insane. The food was fresh and amazing however and worth the prices! Being that I'm a student I wouldn't come on a regular basis though, but for special occasions yes! I chose a plate that was a little cheaper ($25) a sushi Combo that came with the miso salad and soup. I asked for a side of rice but that was a mistake I made, because it came with a lot of sushi/rice already($2). I added a small "Asahi" ($4) and the total came out to be $33.83. Jay who is the serve there was very on top of things as well and friendly. Greet place to go with family! Try it out!

This family owned and run restaurant in a strip mall has some of the best and freshest sushi around. Nigiri and sashimi all cut very generously. The soft-shell crab and other hot food very tasty as well. Friendly and casual atmosphere at reasonable prices right next to Safeway on Shoreline. You can't go wrong.

It's been over a decade since our last visit, but the quality is still there (as is the same sushi chef!). The nigiri was perfection. My husband's chicken teri dan was huge, flavorful and fantastic. Our rolls were also good. Service was friendly and efficient. Love this place!
