Mr. Cake + Indian Bakery and Eatery

I really wanted to leave a good review, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We paid $300 for this cake, and when it was served, the cardboard support board was clearly visible between the layers, which was unacceptable at this price point.

The front desk staff bit rude. As for the cake itself, the taste was decent

We did our custom cake from Mr Cake plus .. rasmalai for 40 ppl . This was so yummiest cake i e er had in bay area ।. . and our customers were asking where did we get this cake from!! It was the best one …
Later following week we did another cake butterscotch .. it tasted like indian cake .. it was the best butterscotch cake i had ever.. definitely recommend this place for events and birthday cakes ..

Very unprofessional staff. If you have any event think 10 times before ordering. They gave us the cake in a large amazon box. The layered cake drooped and was ruined. My friend had specifically asked them to add blue color inside the cake as this was a gender reveal cake. They did not do so. Our gender reveal moment was ruined. Please look at the negative reviews before ordering.

Extremely disappointed with the service and quality. My friend ordered a gender reveal cake specifically with blue filling, but they just gave a regular cake—completely defeating the purpose of the event.

The staff was very unprofessional. The person handling the cake had no idea how to pack it and was trying to force it into a tiny container that would have ruined the icing. Finally, he just handed it over in a random, oversized Amazon box! Because it wasn't secured properly, the cake flopped and the top layers slid off by the time we reached the venue. Totally ruined our special moment. Please avoid this place if you want professional service

My sister pre-ordered a special custom gluten-free vegan layer cake here for my mom's birthday and it was AMAAAAAZING. Heavenly, soft vanilla, rich and moist. My family even agreed the taste and texture was superior to a normal wheat cake. It wasn't a standard menu item but they worked with her to make it happen!

One of the best cake shops in the Bay Area! Santosh made the cake exactly as we envisioned—the theme and color pattern perfectly matched the picture we provided. All our guests loved it, and the cupcakes were outstanding. We’ve been ordering cakes here for the past four years. This time we got a vanilla cake along with assorted chocolate, mango, and vanilla cupcakes—everything was fresh and delicious

Beware of the unprofessional behavior !!!!

They messed up our cake for the event. Cake was never ready for the event, and the cake melted into a mess before we even took it from them. They don’t even know to make a basic cake that holds up. However they still charged us 300$ for that ugly looking cake.
The guy didn’t even care to apologize or do anything to make things right.

I am sure this business won’t survive for long with this kind of service and management. Not even recommending this place to my enemies.

Update-
The cake started to slowly droop and crack within 5 minutes of us leaving and it never made it :/. Paid $298 for the cake! Very bad experience with this bakery.

The even was at 11am, so I went to pick up a pre-ordered 2 tier cake at 10 and they only opened up at 11. Was asked to wait until 11:30 since he had to finish up some work on the cake. When we got it, the upper cake was tilted and he was packaging it in some box that barely even fit the whole cake. Took the cake back to fix it and gave the cake back at 12:30. Not a fly came in when I waited there, the place looks beat up already. Not sure if the business owner is local but it looks very neglected. The place needs to shutdown and become a cloud space if they really want to continue to sell anything. I honestly think going to Safeway next door would’ve been a better option.

Light, fluffy, moist, decadent and so fresh!
