The he ordering process is annoying and confusing, but the staff are friendly and the drinks great for a reasonable price.

Mr. Sun’s Boba has been my FAVORITE café in the Bay Area since December 2023. I love Mr. Sun Tea because (1) the ambiance is welcoming and perfect for both reading and working (2) the boba is healthy. The tapioca pearls are made FRESH in-house daily, without any chemicals or artificial additives.
My go-to order is the RAINBOW Boba Milk Tea with three flavors of boba. I love it so much that I also order Mr. Sun for my gatherings and catering needs.

Very large selection of drinks that are good. Their house-made boba is particularly good. They use paper straws.

Cute place, huge with plenty of indoor seating and various nooks. That being said, the service here was awful. The menu purports to offer drink customization, but the kiosk does NOT provide such options especially for the smoothies. I asked to sub out the crystal bobas with brown sugar boba, even willing to pay any price differential (which there shouldn’t be), and the female employee with a ponytail literally said “no”. I indicated that I prefer my drink with the brown sugar boba, and she said that those aren’t for smoothies. Definitely a place to which not to return — most unfortunate given the Cupertino location was great and sadly now closed. Ugh, edited this because the smoothie/blended drink was quite good - giving this place three stars.

Long wait times. Takes 30 minutes for a single cup. Arrogant and ignorant staff. Avoid.

Great customer service! Very nice staff, boba was nice. They also offer egg custard pancakes here.
Pretty good tea! Nice service, black sesame balls were interesting but I'll stick to the regular tapioca ones. Milk tea was nice

Came 15 minute before closing, they were out of some tea but were flexible in offering to refund or make any other drink!

This place has the best boba/tapioca pearls. Tea is not the best in the Bay Area but is decent. We also really like their Mr Sun Egg Pancakes. The shape is boba. How cute! I appreciate the pinball game. It’s a delightful experience.

Great spot! My kids have been here about 20 different times, and it's always been awesome. One time we accidentally spilled our drink outside, and they just gave us another one for free. Which is super kind of them.
