Fresh, home-made boba, and delicious drinks! The owner was super sweet and handed out free samples + recommendations. I am excited to come back and try more flavors.

Oh sweet sweet boba how do I love you so?...This is my favorite boba place next to where I live. Grabbed one on the way back from the dentist cleaning this morning. They make their own boba from scratch and you can see them make it super cool!Been here about a dozen times before. How did I not notice this.Super clean building with bathrooms. Never busy. They have specialties. My favorite is the Mr. Sun passion fruit green tea with boba and coconut jelly 25% sugar and less ice. You can customize it how you want.I actually like this place better than the options downtown.Nothing much to complain about here. Except the girl taking my order today was so soft-spoken I could hardly hear what she was asking.Recommend if you're dropping by or going past to grab a cold or hot drink. Or if you just need a home away from home to work or just chill.

I love milk tea and I've had it many places. I have to say the taro milk tea here is literally the best I've ever had. When you order it full sweet, it almost tastes like Teddy Grahams. It is phenomenal, probably my new favorite tea

Pretty bad experience. First time and ordered Angel Caramel Milk tea for 6.75 with tax. Tasteless and it wasn't sweet enough so I asked for extra sugar to be added. The staff asked for a dollar , Are they serious ? What the !

Your experience will depend on who is at the counter. I once had a difficult experience with younger non-English speaking woman at the counter. The only one that’s amazing to deal with is a middle-aged lady, she speaks perfect English and helped me choose a drink with my cruel dietary restrictions. She’s amazing! I will go back FOR HER and the delicious boba.I like to pay the price for health before I “pay the price” for the lack of health.

How dare I call myself an avid boba drinker and I've somehow managed to miss every Mr. sun tea location? I seriously can't believe I haven't tried this place before. I was so surprised by the way they prepared their tapioca balls, which actually isn't made with only tapioca starch like others. The owner took the time to explain that they made a concoction of konjac jelly and tapioca. Konjac is an East Asian plant that grows in tropical area and while the root has very little taste, it comes packed with soooo many health benefits... My personal favorite, fiber! We got to try the mango, strawberry, and brown sugar. I was so taken by the natural flavor; it did not taste like your overally artificial bubble tea. I also had the opportunity to try the coffee jelly with my hazelnut milk tea. It wasn't shaped like pearls but instead like Jell-O scooped from a cup!. That was also very natural tasting as it had the subtle bitterness that coffee often carries. Overall, I was very pleased and cant wait to come back to Mr. Sun tea to try some more of their natural fruit flavors.

Five stars for the pineapple tea with basil seeds - two stars for the 30 minute wait it took to make it, and a little bump up in the rating for the staff who apologized for the wait.Perhaps next time I'll call in my order in advance so I can enjoy the high quality drinks without the delay.

The clerk was very rude and when asked about my order she frowned at me and said no orders could be changed. This would be acceptable if the self ordering system would allow for comments and changes to the drink, but their system is so outdated that no modifications were permitted. If you're looking for good customer service, go elsewhere ?

TLDR; mr. sun has a good assortment of milk teas and fruit teas. they make their boba in-house (you can see them kneading the tapioca and putting it into the machine). their drinks are pretty creamy too and run a little sweet.i've been to the mr. sun in cupertino and mountain view. i know there's one opening in palo alto too.// jasmine milk tea with brown sugar boba (25% ice, 25% sweet)their boba is nice and chewy with brown sugar flavor (was on the softer side this time). their milk tea is pretty creamy, definitely more milky vs. a tea flavor but i like it like that. mr. sun drinks do run sweet so i'd recommend getting a sugar level down than normal since the boba already has brown sugar too.ordering was quick and easy. would come back.

Was walking up and down Castro for the Mountain View Art and Wine festival and it was hot hot hot! My daughter and I were in dire need of a refreshing beverage and saw this place right across the street so decided to get our Boba on! LOL The young lady at the register was very friendly and helpful, and the young man making the tea was very nice as well. I decided upon the Mr. Sun mango green tea with crystal ball and mango boba. It was very enjoyable, good strong tea flavor, and sweet enough but not too sweet at regular sugar. They have those little stands with screens so you can order without going to the register if you choose.

Love the new concept of making their own boba and making it healthy with less calories and zero preservatives.Nice interior, plenty of seats to hang out.Tried their golden brown sugar boba milk tea - just perfect for me at 50% sweetness.Passion Fruit or Peach Green tea was also delicious.Their boba is very chewy!! They rotate their flavors every week too!

Nice and clean interior, killer boba! It's similarly chewy to tapioca boba, but just a little different since it's made with konjac. Pretty good and more healthy apparently! The drinks were all delicious, I think I'd say the fruit teas are the best, followed by milk tea, and then the milk tea lattes (of what I've tried and seen). We were getting 50% sweet and that felt just right (not too sweet but not too flavorless). My favorite of the bunch was probably the passion fruit green tea! So fragrant and refreshing! The three brothers milk tea was also pretty good and came with 3 toppings preselected (brown sugar boba, pudding, and grass jelly). The drink was creamy and delicious. The rainbow boba was fun to get, but harder to taste the flavors individually since they get all mixed together (there's brown sugar, strawberry, and mango). I found the osmanthus oolong tea latte with grass jelly to be a little watery in taste. Not very osmanthus-y.The peach jasmine green tea with mango boba was refreshing and light.I heard on the weekends they have even more boba flavors, so cool!

This is definitely one of my favorite boba spots in the Bay now! They handmake their boba in-house and is said to be healthier because they don't add any chemical preservatives in them! I wanted to try their fruit boba because I've heard great things about it and the texture/ flavor was amazing. The texture is similar to crystal boba and the flavor is sweet but not in an artificial sugar type of way. They also have a ton of indoor seating so it's the perfect place to catch up with friends or for a little study session. (5/5) Mango Green Tea: I got 25% sugar because the staff mentioned that their drinks tend to be super sweet and I would say even 25% was almost ranging from a 50-75% mark. I loved the mango boba it was super chewy and paired perfectly with the mango tea.

One of the best boba I've tried. I I love how the drink is the perfect level of sweetness.Ordering was done through a kiosk machine. There is not much picture on the kiosk machine but trust that the taste is amazing. This has to be hands down my favorite boba place. There's plenty of seating and very good place to hang with friends.

I heard the main draw of Mr. Sun Tea is the handmade boba, and I'm thoroughly impressed with it! Added some brown sugar boba to my mango green milk tea, and the drink was fine, but the boba was the real star of the show. It had a more distinct texture and was more tasty than boba from other tea shops, and I would definitely consider coming back just for the toppings despite not being a topping person. Service and ambiance are what you'd expect from any other boba chain: quickly served, ample seating room.
