Namastee Nepal Food Truck

I ordered dinner from this place through delivery, and although the food arrived hot, the packaging could definitely be improved. The hot items were packed in a way that caused condensation, leaving everything slightly soggy and watery by the time I opened it.

I ordered steamed chicken momos, which were decent but not among the best I’ve had in the area. They were fairly basic without anything particularly memorable.

I also tried the chicken thukpa — a Nepali/Tibetan noodle soup for those unfamiliar with it, typically made with broth, noodles, vegetables, and protein. Unfortunately, this version felt quite bland, and the broth lacked depth and flavor. Having had much better thukpa in Kolkata, India, this one felt very average in comparison.

Portion sizes were generous and easily enough for more than one serving, but overall the meal felt very basic and nothing really stood out.

***USP: Nepali style food truck serving momos, fried rice, noodles, Manchurian etc. Prices can be considered low compared to numerous other similar trucks.

***FOOD: we got fried rice and chow mein. Quantity was very generous. Both the dishes came with a nice variety of finely diced veggies. The sauces that came on the side were really good. They had a nice little kick as well. The reason for rating them a bit low is because there was a strong salty aftertaste in both the fried rice and chow mein. And it was difficult to eat much of them.

Ordered delivery again after a few months - please support this awesome food truck! Best Nepalese food ever. If you say that you want extra momo sauce or spice in the food they'll actually take care of it.
They are always quick and are conveniently located at the el Camino junction. One of my favorite spots in the Bay Area! Prices aren't high as well for the quantity they give!

Horrible food. Unfortunately hygienic place. City should close it down. Look inside the truck on how good is prepared.

This food quality and Taste has literally gone from 10/10 to -1/10. I used to think why this place is so slow and why business is not as it used to be for them every time I drive by el-camino real but today I got first hand experience. I have attached the review I posted 6 years ago when I had first posted the 5 star review for this place and then the food was later okish down the years but now the food is just not edible. We ordered Chicken Momo, Chicken Chili, Chicken Chowmein.
Chicken Chowmein tasted bad and had a weird taste to it. We had to throw the whole food away.
Chicken Momo had chewy rubber like taste and also filings had no taste of Chicken Keema at all. I make chicken momo at home so I know how Momo should taste and smell like.
Chicken chili was the only part edible there. It also had a slight somewhat funny structure but we will see if that’s going to give us the answer the next day.
But guys if you are hurting as a business owners please don’t take out the essence of food from the food itself. Do portion control or may be increase the price of some sort but the quality we got today not only ruined our dinner, it ruined our evening too. May be this was the last toll we could take from this place. Also will not be recommending this place to any of my friends and families. There are so many Nepali businesses out here that provide quality as well as authenticity. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Paila jaile aaune garthe tara khana ko quality bistarai bigridai gaako huna le nai aauna banda gardai gaako thiyem tara aaja aaisake pachi ta kina gayem jastai vayo. Hajur haru ko business ma California aayeh dekhi aako thiye around 6/7 barsa agaadi dekhi tara khana ko quality ekdamai ghatdai gaako cha dai. Hopfully hajur haru le yah baata bistarai quality maarfat dhyan didai jaanu hola. Maile aru review haru maa ni tei dekhe khana baasi vaako jasto quality ghateko jasto. Tei vayera hajur lai saano jaankari garako. 🙏🏼

Wonderful price but small size momo.

Don't bother going here.

Food was greasy and tasted nothing like authentic 'indo-chinese' chicken. Ordered the 'chilli chicken chowmein' - the dish had no taste of chillie, the chicken seemed to be deep fried a fortnight ago. Do yourself a favour - save your money and go eat at Wendy's or In-N-Out or some other place.

WARNING : STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

Food quality has gone down the drain. Veg Chow-mien had an odd smell, so much so that we weren’t able to eat.

My friend ordered chicken momos and wrap, they threw as it is in the garbage, food was not eatable. Staff was not courteous enough to refund anything, since we could not eat anything out of 4 dishes we ordered.

We used to come here for their tasty indo-Chinese but it was too disappointing this time. Would not recommend.

Tasty, satisfying comfort food in generous portions. My go-to order is chicken momos and a mango lassi. The momos are delicious on their own, and they also come with an orange dipping sauce that I could eat by the spoonful. The spicy items have a fair bit of heat.

You store momo i love it

This place is races me and my friend when there to get food but we wait for long time and people came after us got help and got food but not us I will not recommend this place at all
