Located within walking distance of my office, this charming deli cafe has earned the nickname "secret cafe" among my colleagues because it's not easy to find without GPS. Despite its discreet location, it's a popular lunch spot, even rivaling the cafe on our campus.What sets Plaza Deli Cafe apart is its delicious food and the warm, family-owned atmosphere. Sam, the owner, is incredibly friendly and accommodating. My personal favorite is the chicken pesto panini with sun-dried tomatoes. I once asked Sam if he could substitute pepper jack cheese for mozzarella, and he happily crafted a custom sandwich that exceeded my expectations?The bread used in their paninis is soft and crispy, creating the perfect texture. And let's not forget about their hot sauce – it's hands down the best I've ever had. It's heartwarming to support a local business like Plaza Deli Cafe, where you not only enjoy fantastic food but also experience genuine hospitality. Chicken tiki masala is one of my favorite dish. When the owner Sam said if you like CTM, you should try my butter chicken. Well, I'm glad I did. Now I know why it was a special item on menu because it's special. It's flavorful and a ting of spiciness. It's smooth and creamy. It was very nice to go with naan but I like the long grain. You gotta have rice with it. It comes with a good portion of meat and decent sized of the creamy butter chicken sauce. Is it perfect? No. For me, I prefer chicken thigh meat instead of breast and I prefer more onion. So good!

Not closed when I was there June 2023. Friendly, awesome staff even offered to feed me when I remembered I lost my wallet on a flight that day. I found I had cash, but the gesture was as kind as the food was good. Pesto chicken panini with aragula was perfect savory and little bit of spice for effect.

I've been passing this place for weeks now...someone I know said it was good so I went to check it out. I was craving a salad but when I got there, there was a limited menu of sandwiches and some very friendly people behind the counter. I found out this family run business has been there for 25 years with a full menu and a line out the door every day...open for breakfast, coffee, etc...before Covid. Now that they have reopened they've had to reduce their menu...but the sandwiches they serve are yum!!! Super accommodating in a minor substitution. Let's bring them back some business y'all! Such a sweet family!!!

I'm so happy the deli has returned! They make some very delicious Mediterranean dishes, and some of the best babaganoush I've had. Sam and Jouhaina are always warm and so friendly. If you're looking for a small but very nice place, check out the Plaza Deli and try some of Sam's favorite hot sauce while you're there.

First time to the deli today, and it was absolutely incredible! A beautiful family making absolutely delicious food!! The m'jadara was fantastic - tasted like home! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu - The sandwiches are delicious and was surprised to find butter chicken on the menu, also!
