My experience at this restaurant was a mixed bag of flavors. The scallion pancake was decent, but the crust was a tad too thick for my liking. Similarly, the pineapple deep-fried shrimp was alright, but the thick crust left me tasting more flour than shrimp. However, the standout dish was undeniably the braised beef noodle. It was simply amazing—tasty, rich, and the noodles were just perfect. If you’re a noodle lover like me, you’ll definitely want to try it out! Overall, while there were some hits and misses, the braised beef noodle made the visit worthwhile.

- Eggplant in garlic sauce - good, but a bit too sweet for me- Mongolian chicken - not a fan, chicken was not flavorful, and the dish had too many onions- Taiwan sausage fried rice - sausage, egg, and diced string beans - simple and good but on the oily side oily

Definitely worth a try due to solid food at solid prices. Price points are competitive for the Bay Area and the food itself may even be able to compete with NYC Chinese food, so it’s worth stopping by for a straight and to the point meal at a no frills restaurant.

The service was very ordinary. Didn't check back if we needed anything. No smile and it felt like we weren't welcome. The food was fine. They have a menu selection with three dishes for a fixed price.Quite oily though some dishes were tasty like the garlic eggplant.

Never had a bad meal here. Love the Chinese breakfast, three-entree special, and the Taiwanese beef noodle soup. If you feel like boba, they offer $1 off drinks from the boba place next door.

Unfortunately I found some kind of piece(s) of glass/ plastic in my food. I returned to show it to them. The woman I talked to said it was some kind of decoration? I feel they should have refunded my money since it was a very crunchy dinner experience. Good thing I didn't break a tooth!!

Food tasted pretty good. Beef stew rice plate with rice was just okay though.

Worth the price with big portions. Sweet rice cooked in barrels and chopped pork rice are too salty for me but still tasty. However, avoid stewed vermicelli with pork intestines. It's not that good.

It was ok. Probably the first time in a LONG time where I didn't enjoy Chinese food. The second the food came out I already knew. I didn't even take a picture of our meal. That doesn't mean we walked out or complained. The kids ate. Lol.

They will sometimes mistake your order even if you order by pointing to the picture. Then, when you point out the mistake, they will forget to refund you the price difference of the item unless you ask them to.Mistaking the order is one thing, but overcharging after making such a mistake is another.

7/6/2023 - we went here for early dinner. We had fish with black bean, beef with string beans and braised tofu. The beef was super tough. The fish dish had so little fish 3& half pieces in the whole plate. It was really onions with fish ?. The braised tofu was ok. I normally don’t like my food be drenched in sauce so I requested little sauce. Still there was too much sauce in my fish dish. Service was definitely lacking. We were the only customers at the time, but they never came back to ask if everything was ok, or perhaps we needed more fish in our dish ?. Other than this the place was clean.

Recommended dishes: Braised Tofu

Sat us outside (party of 5), and ignored us for 30+ minutes. One of our party wanted to share our meals, the waitress wouldn't let us do that. We ended up leaving since the service was horrific and the inside looked dirty. Would never come back. Advice to management: don't punish customers for choosing to eat at your establishment. There are plenty of other restaurants on Castro St. And nothing makes you place special.

Cheap and good Chinese food. Big portions. Went to Queen house with 3 other friends. We got pork fried rice, wanton soup, dumplings, shezhuan beef, and tofu clay pot. Dumplings were really good. We all liked our dishes. Staff was only attentive at the beginning. Once they took our order, they didn't really come back to check in on us. We had to go in and ask for water, our bill, and to-go boxes. Service can be better.Parking: There is a free parking garage on Bryant Street which is walking distance from the restaurant.
