Dr. Hu was my dentist about 7-8 years ago; I was exceedingly satisfied, AND I left her in pursuit of finding a dentist that my HMO covered. BIG MISTAKE! Here I am now 7-8 yrs. later with a dental mess, missing teeth, teeth worn down, etc. and I've come back to Dr. Hu to try and clean it up. I should never have left! I went yesterday and in just one appointment she did and amazing job of filling cavities and rebuilding 5 teeth that were worn down. I am very grateful! She is a extraordinarily skilled, outstanding dentist.

No exaggeration, Dr. Chu (who I saw at Dr. Hu's practice) is the BEST dentist I've ever been to in my life. She was super kind and understanding. I also feel like she didn't shame me for my teeth being crooked or pressure me/use scare tactics into getting "necessary" orthodontic work like other dentists I've been to in the Bay Area. She was super gentle with my cleaning (especially the flossing which always stresses me out) but was still able to get some serious staining off my teeth so they look as new and clean as the day they first popped out of my gums. Honestly, I would give 100 stars if I could. She was PHENOMENAL and I will actually not dread it in six months when I have to go back for another cleaning. Also, Mike at the front desk was really great about going the extra mile to contact my insurance (since I'm a dependent on my mom's insurance) to make sure I was covered and was super attentive about getting me in as soon as possible. In terms of COVID, they had a lot of covid precautions in place like hand sanitizer, taking temperatures, and having sanitized pens for filling out documents. During covid I was kind of wary of having my mask off and someone peering so closely in my face but I actually felt super safe and secure. Again could not recommend more highly!!! (Like I literally already told a co-worker she should come here if she's looking for a dentist)

I have been a patient of Dr. Hu for the past 5 years and my service was mainly for cleaning/x-ray services and routine checkup. I have started seeing her after a series of very bad dentist experiences, especially the last two where the dentist tried to up-charge me for unneeded services. My experience with Dr. Hu and her staff has been exceptional every time, she tells you as is, only offers what you need, she is efficient and detail oriented and you can tell she is very good at her job. Mike is also very efficient, responsive and helpful on appointments and any issues. You can rely on Dr. Hu to provide you the service you need with someone you trust.

I loved my experience at Dr's Hu today. When I first call, Mike was super attentive, and scheduled me for the same week, explained how much everything would cost. Doctor Hu and Bhavsar were caring and clear about the procedures, keeping me calm for the first part of deep cleaning. I'll come back soon to keep doing the procedure. I went to a different office before and they charged me $500 more, so as student, I really appreciated the competitive price. I'm gonna recommend them to my friends. :)

I love this place but today I didn't like the salmon terriyaki at lunch. It didn't taste like salmon at all After I ate half, my body said 'no more'. Everything else in my bento box was perfect. I will keep eating here but I won't order salmon terriyaki again. The car chicken terriyaki is great.

It's small but very comfortable feeling and beautiful setting. The employees are sweet and very attentive. Is totally a place I recommend to come for a date night. The rolls are very good!!

The menu has many gems, wait staff are great. Try the specials. Best sUshi rolls include spicy lobster and a less spicy shrimp dish. Less sweet than some lLocal sushi places.

I don't remember what my friends and I ordered but damn this place is really good. I enjoyed the sashimi so much! Delicious and melts in your mouth! The rolls were just as good! Presentation was just as nice. I know what sushi spot to hit next time I'm in San Jose! Thanks!
We came here at 3:30pm Sunday, rainy day so it wasn't busy at all. The food was as good as all other Japanese restaurant. The service was terrible, not only they forgot to put in one of my orders which made us waited for an extra 30min after we finished the meal, but also didn't refill our tea & took out the empty plates until I asked. If it was extremely busy, I would understand that they couldn't pay much attention to each table, but today it wasn't we case, we were the only customer during that time. Won't come back anymore & I don't recommend this place.

This happen a while back, not sure if the assistant is still there but I went there for cleaning, dentist was good, but I specifically call in to tell them since I might be pregant I only wanted cleaning no x-ray. On the day of, the dental assistant asked me to bite into something that day and so I did, then I noticed that she's was taking a x-ray and didn't even put a apron on me! I had to call her out on it, she wasn't even apologetic, then I saw her trying to stick something else in my mouth that had a piece of hair on it. When I told her about it, her response was "can you tie your hair back" I'm like really, it's already tie and you should have looked. I told her I don't want her touching me after that and had another assistant who was a lot more professional help. I told the new assistant about it and she was shaking her head. Regardless she still stood around when the dentist cleaning my teeth pretending to clean the area but trying to listen in. The one star review and bad experience was for his assistant. Dentist did a decent job. However, because of that, I never went back nor did my husband.

I definitely would like to put 6 stars here if I can. Today is my one year anniversary when I switched from other dental office last year. If you are looking for a Dentist that is truly gentle and caring, I would highly recommend Dr. Hu. She is very thorough and knowledgeable. Don't rely on their schedule. They can cancel appointment at any time. Right on the same day. Terrible. They can cancel your appointment while you are driving. Even not notifying via the phone beforehand.

I went to this dentist and Dr. Hu told me I had four cavities before even doing x-rays. I've only had a handful of cavities in my life, so I was a little skeptical. I came in two weeks later to have x-rays done, expecting to get some more details about these cavities, but it almost seemed like she didn't even look at the x-rays and just said "Alright, are you ready to get these filled for $580?" I asked her the extent of the cavities, and she said "umm, they're not too deep, but they're not too shallow either." I had a gut feeling that something wasn't right, so I said I would come back at a later date. I had the x-rays sent to my dentist in my hometown, whom I trust, and he said I might have one small cavity but certainly not four. I'm glad I trusted my gut because I would have paid $580 for her to drill into perfectly healthy teeth. I'm no dentist, but she seemed very inexperienced and like she didn't really know what she was talking about.
