delicious
Great location, has some small middle eastern savory and sweet pastries but also has a Mediterranean grill inside that serves full menu and great shawarmas.

The baklava was okay. We tried every type (including the chocolate) and they all tasted a bit old and stale and exactly the same. It wasn’t crispy either but chewy and cold. We came in around 3 pm so maybe that is why they weren’t fresh.

Sana'a cafe one of my favorite places to visit with my husband and children, and sometimes just with my husband for a weekend evening out. It’s a calm and classy place that customizes your coffee exactly the way you like it. The service is quick, and you can also sit and play games like chess or Uno, or other fun activities. I highly recommend visiting, and you won’t regret it. The honeycomb is absolutely delicious, and I always add honey to it. The coffee is perfectly made to our liking, and the cashier is very respectful. I truly recommend it, and you won’t be disappointed.

There are plenty of better Mediterranean food options on Castro st, with cheaper prices, better cuts of meat, better dessert execution. Staff is very friendly and the vibe is nice, I do hope they improve

Tried the iced pistachio latte, the presentation was cute but the coffee was mediocre.
I got the baklava as well, while its not crispy, its decent. Price wise and taste wise.
While i was sitting there, they served some turkish delight samples as well. It wasn’t the best or the softest, it would appease the nostalgia. The cashier also gave me an extra baklava piece.
Overall, i loved the generosity. Very reflective of the arab culture. Service was great too.

Love this place! They even have donuts now on Fridays.
This is inside Mediterranean Grill Cafe. I tried their Sanaa’s latte and totally loved it. It was strong with great flavors. Their baklava was very yummy too.

I love the adeni chai here. It comes in a kettle and adorable tea cups. My mom enjoyed her rose latte and my friend enjoyed her pistachio latte too.
Very beautiful interior as well and friendly, accommodating staff.

I asked the staff for their coffee recommendation, Jubani, which was delicious as was the Biscotf cheesecake. The service could have been a bit faster, but overall a very good experience.

The food and drinks are okay to below average. Service depends on whom you run into, but the place has great late-night vibes.
Compared to other Yemeni coffee spots like Qamaria in Fremont, this place has miles to go.
I fell sick after drinking their Adeni chai. Midway through the drink, I realized something was off, and for the first time in 30 years of chai drinking, I threw it away. I also discarded my companion’s cup, and they later thanked me for it. The next day, I felt horribly sick.
It might be because they serve the chai in large Starbucks-style cups, whereas traditional Adeni chai is meant to be enjoyed in small portions. Still, the chai lover in me refuses to believe that a 100-year-old traditional recipe could make people sick unless something was genuinely wrong with how it was prepared.
