I used to love specialty's for their cookies and sandwiches!! But seems like I got a bad batch or their RECIPES CHANGED!!! :( big difference in TASTE and APPEARANCE of the cookies! we would get them almost every week so I know their flavors. My mom is a pastry chef so we know flavors. It was such a disappointment to visit their one now open cafe and order a dozen cookies and find out how different they tasted. Sad their recipes changed. We won't be going back...Especially since even their sandwiches are so pricey for their quality. If I was a first time customer yea I could see how this is pretty decent. And I'd probably go back for one cookie. But since we were regulars for years - toNow see their taste, quality and appearance of their cookies and sandwiches take such a downtown I have to sadly give this an honest review of 2 stars. ComeBack Specialty's!!!!!!

The veggie sandwich ("vegetarian") changed my life. It was so flavorful. I'm sad to no longer work near Mountain View because I'm still dreaming about that sandwich. Bring Specialty's back to SF!

So glad to see that there's another location since I have fond memories of working downtown SF and grabbing cookies on my way to work and on my Bart ride home! I was super bummed to drive to the city from the East bay on one of my trips back to California- to find out they're no longer at the Bart station!!I guess I'll have to fly into San Jose
They have the best stuffed croissants I've ever had! Had a turkey anf gouda one and it was amazing!

Good location to grab a sandwich and coffee if heading to Moffitt Field museum. The cafe is big and set up to do a lot of catering. However, if you need a place to go to study or have a business lunch, then this place is set up for that. Every wall had an outlet or USB charger.The food was good and the right portion size. It is on the pricy side but also matches the bay high area costs for everything. The turkey, pulled chicken and turkey and cranberry sandwiches had good flavor, and the froccasia bread was soft.The bakery items we got were good but did not stand out from other bakerys we been too.

Pay attention to your receipt!!! I just realized after coming here several times that they automatically add a tip at the end you can hardly read it. What a scam. Beware.
