I won't speak about how cold and defunct of any personality Starbucks has become in their lobbies... But today I will provide feedback on a new product release.

Does anyone like to lick cardboard? Welcome to Starbucks new cup lid experience! OMG ** HATE ** the new Starbucks lids... In fact enough to where I will go to other coffee places to get my coffee moving forward. It absorbs moisture from my lips and the outside of the lid gets all marked up with whatever I'm drinking. After a while this sustainable lid becomes tacky and begins to stick to my mouth and I'm afraid I will have bits of white lid sticking to my lips! @SBUX HQ - didn't you test this product before launching broadly? Who approved these? Even McDonald's has better coffee lids.

Terribly bad service. The baristas are far from being professional.
An incidence- the other day, I walk into the Starbucks with my son and requested for water. The barista flatly denied us water- said that our policy. BTW, very rude. His name is Dylan. Mind you, I was with my ten year old son who was thirsty as well. Nope, Dylan just didn’t give us water. Well, I didn’t ask for a fancy plastic cup, nothing, he simply refused us water and said it’s the policy. When I said that he can just give water out of the tap- nope!
I asked him to email me the policy, he called his manager, who wasn’t at the store. I insisted showing me/emailing me the policy, he didn’t. I refused to leave the store and Dylan and his other colleague called the cops 👮 on us. I had a conversation with the cop and the cop apologetically said cop/he can’t do much as that may be Starbucks policy. Me and my son had to leave Starbucks without water, and without the cake-pop which we actually intended to buy.
I am surprised that such institutions continue to do business in California and such staff members continue with jobs with such attitude.

Negative experience and super rude staff. It was around 3pm on a Saturday when I stopped by to get my cup of coffee, no other customers in the lobby or line. Not greeted and looked at as if I was interrupting them with my presence. When my coffee was ready I said thank you and not a word. To top it off the coffee tasted bad. I left the place with a sour note in my mouth from that location and would never return there.

I always like to stop by for a good coffee before starting my day ? and this was one of my favorite places until today when a worker didn't want to serve me because I spoke to her in Spanish. I felt very discriminated against and sad that there are people like that because my money is worth it too .....?????

Didn't ask for my name. No smiles. No greetings
Didn't care to tell me when my order was ready.
I continued to work on phone on purpose to see how long they tell me that my coffee was ready.
Signaled me to my coffee when I made an eye contact.
I was the only customer at the time. And some phone order(s) getting processed, I think.
Yes, it was early morning and baristas were not in most energetic state but experience at a coffee shop near my office is souch better at same time in the morning.

Exactly what the new CEO needs to fix. Unless one is a typical Starbucks customer, experience doesn't seem to work. Customers like me ordering our regular cappuccinos don't seem to be welcome. And I keep going to any other option but Starbucks.
