Great deal for All You Can Eat Sushi at $50. It's good quality rolls .... And they're friendly... I'll be back. The ambiance isn't fancy ... it's simple but clean. They also have Ramen and alternatives for those who don't want raw fish ...

I would have given them no stars, if possible. Just went there this evening with my hubby for Valentine's Day. The host/greeter told his waiter buddy "No AYCE for them, we're too busy" in Mandarin. Look here buddy, I can understand you perfectly well in your native tongue because guess what I speak it too!!! What was it about you being too busy?! You are not even full to capacity for your dine in customers! You shoo us away because you're busy up front with all the pick up orders!!! Bad business practice!!!

I had a couple rolls and the salad plus miso soup. For rolls took the Red Crunch Mango w/ Spider Maki, neither failed to impress. Service was prompt and curtious, the restroom was well kept. When new owners took over, prices went up but the food became more fragrant. 100% recommended. Happy Noshing! This review brought to you by Dogedollars.

The negative reviews had me a bit concerned but my experience was decent. I enjoyed the sushi (got 4 rolls), and server was nice during takeout experience. It is not the best sushi in the area but not

Horrible experience: ordered a take away delivery, the order was wrong. They made my drive 30 minutes to pick up my own order and when I got there I only received half of my order. The guy was rude and the sushi I ordered ended up being g mediocre at best. I am not surprise this place has 3.7 rating.

Absolute terrible place. Gained some fame when a woman ate so much she ended up in the hospital.PRO:- Sadly I can't think of one. I guess it's got parking?CON:- Terrible quality sushi, lots of rice- Not fresh sushi, hoping I wouldn't get sick- Service is non existent, there was only 1 table besides ours- Forever to get sushi, servers chatted with each otherSUMMARY:Terrible sushi, servers only sprang to life as we were leaving to snatch up the bill (which had ZERO tip). They actually chased us down out the door to tell us we hadn't left a tip. No kidding. :-(

Unhygienic!I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The hygiene conditions were poor. During my visit, I found a hair in the sushi and there were two dead bugs in my soup. I suffered from diarrhea afterwards. What's even more concerning is that when I brought this to the waitress's attention, she didn't acknowledge their fault nor apologize. This lack of responsibility and accountability is deeply concerning.

Absolutely amazing. This place is a hidden gem. The ramen and bento boxlunches are not only well presented but they taste wonderful! Will definitely make this a regular place to visit.

I ordered deluxe chirashi and there was nothing deluxe about it. It came with 16 thin slices of rotten sashimi (yes, rotten) and some seaweed salad. I had to contact DoorDash to get refund. I would never order from this place ever again.

The food here cannot even be described as Americanized Japanese food. Every sushi roll that I have tried is loaded and plattered with sauce; you do not taste any rice or fish. You only taste sauce. Most Bay Area sushi restaurants generally have many rolls where there is no sauce, but Sushi 85 does not seem to be capable to comprehend of rolls that are not covered with sauce. On a second visit, I tried to avoid the sushi rolls by ordering the curry rice. The curry is Indian style curry - it had a strong yellow hue, and not the dark brown color expected of Japanese curry. The taste was clearly Indian style curry as well. The meat in the curry dish was not even cooked correctly; the meat was grilled and sliced rather than coated with panko and fried.I find it clear that Sushi 85 does not understand American Japanese food (much less Japanese food).

Food was good. The octopus was uneatable and the ramen was good, but for me it was too sweet.

OMG this is got to be the worst sushi I’ve ever had in my life. I never make reviews but I felt it was important to warn those that was even considering eating at this restaurant. The quality is substandard below cat food..Save your money, no really save your money. I’ve never had such poor quality food let alone sushi they should not be in business..For those that make hard reviews for this place they’ve never eaten sushi before
