Mediocre food. There are a lot of better Japanese restaurant in the town for the similar price with way better service.

Service wasn't great. If you are looking for a restaurant that with good service, go somewhere else.

The mediocre food and bad service made it a not so pleasant experience for me. If the food is bad, I will give it one star without hesitation but at the very least the food is just mediocre and edible, so 2 stars.

Sushi Tomi did a great job catering for my work event for 40 people.

Sushi: 14 types of nigiri (12-15 each), 4 regular rolls (7 each), 14 insideout rolls (5-7 each).

Appetizers (8 each): wakame (seaweed salad), vegetable tempura, chicken karaage, deep fried gyoza.

Everyone was very impressed by the quality of the food -- very fresh and wonderfully prepared. Oishii!

The food was arranged nicely in large pans for buffet style. They were very helpful in labeling each pan as veg, vegan, gluten and gluten free. They provided ample soy sauce, tamari (GF), tempura sauce, gyoza sauce, wasabi, ginger, and chopsticks.

I worked with Tak on this large order. He was very helpful and accommodating. He had to have his chefs come to work 2 hours early to prepare the large order for pickup at 11:30am. Tak and his friendly staff helped me load all the food into my car.

I highly recommend catering from Sushi Tomi. Thanks Tak!

You don't have to travel to Japan to get real Japanese sushi. Their services are very professional and quick. The best sushi restaurant in Bay area, no doubt👍

Recently, we went for dinner, and we were able to sit at the Sushi Bar. Carrie, our server was very good! Carrie gave us Edamame, that was really good. My wife had the Sushi & Sashimi Bento which included Miso soup, that was very good. I had Nigiri Sushi of Hamachi Toro, Otoro, Hotate, and California Roll. Everything was so delicious that we ate it all and boy were we full! They don't take reservations, and they're so popular that the restaurant fills up fast. There's always a line outside waiting to get in.
