Had this for the very first time at the Palo Alto community center during 4th of July. Unfortunately this missed the mark. For fish and chips and 2 sauces totalled up to $21 with tip included. It came with steak fries and 3 pieces of halibut. We waited for 10 mins to order but waited 20 mins to get our order. When we got our food, only the fries were hot and fish was barely warm then we only got 1 sauce when we paid for 2. The fish seemed like it was previously frozen like the Gorton's Beer Battered Fish and then it was airfried. I was hoping for the halibut to be hot and flaky. Maybe it was also the event and there were just too many orders to handle. Idk for $21 we were disappointed.

Amazing Fish n Chips food truck that I've chased around the SF Bay Area. VERY limited hours but with the wait. The truck is parked behind Fred's Place on Old Middlefield Rd Mountain View

Best fish N chips I have ever tried! Ribs were off the hook! Finally had a chance to stop by and try it out. Would recommend to friends. Thumbs up!

8/12/22: There at the PALO ALTO VA because the cafeteria is under remodel. This is the second time I tried their catfish and chips. Okay so first time it was $14.00 for fish and chips (small pieces) and 12 oz Pepsi for $2.00 $16.00 + tip (I was being nice) + $20.10 and the girl had me sign on a ipad. I tried ordering jalapeño poppers but she said they were out. Today I order exact same thing but no tip and I didn't have to sign ipad and there's $1.00!extra added so instead of $16.00 it's $17.03 (SHADY) I didn't sign the ipad this time. So to EVERYONE who eats here at this food truck, check to see what they charge they add extra. Wow! Thanks for RIPPING OFF VETERANS who served this country , this will be last time eating at your food truck and GUARANTEE I WILL TELL ALL THE VETERANS ABOUT YOUR SHADY PRACTICES

You don't mind many places specializing in catfish (or souther fried fish) so when I found this place I had to try it! I didn't realize going in that it was a good truck, but I was planning on taking the food to go anyway. It was parked behind another restaurant and in a parking lot that I honestly almost missed the first time trying to find it. The staff was all really nice and friendly, they gave me extra sauce and helped me decide what to get. I really wanted to try the bacon bourbon cheese fries and catfish.. didn't realize the fish came with fries so I pretty much had double. They had thicker ridge cut fries and they were good! The bacon fries were so tasty!!! Lots of flavor and the sauce on top was totally worth ordering. You know the food was fresh too because it took a little while (but not an obsessive amount) of time to cook, and it was still hot when I got back to my hotel. The fish batter was crispy on the outside and the fish inside was flaky and buttery. Really well-done! Definitely would come back here, there was no wait either when I went so I got exactly what I wanted in a quick manner!

We just had their catfish fish and chips at a Juneteenth festival. We loved the cornmeal crust: was super crispy and tasty, and not greasy at all. The tartar sauce was yum too. The garlic Parmesan fries were a treat. Good portion size. I hope we find the truck again!

I just happened to find them near a store to try them out. The people eating outside told me that I wouldn't regret buying fish and chips from them. And let me tell you, they weren't wrong. I believe this is the best fish and chips in the bay area. The fish is cooked to perfection. I love the coating they have on the fish. It's so so yummy. I generally get the catfish. Their shrimp and chips are really great as well. I've also bought their wings, which although taste pretty good, aren't as special as their fish and chips.

Rod and Atira are fantastic. And their food? JUST AS FANTASTIC!!! I hired their food truck service for a community event that ended up rounding 650 people in the South Bay (Easter egg hunt). Rod was so easy to talk to. He was polite, professional, and just genuinely loves to cook for people. They came earlier to get stationed and set up. And when it was time for lunch, they were more than ready to get cookin and provide food for patrons. In my event coordinating career, I've dealt with all dynamics of caterers and food truckers. And some are just so big headed, you can tell they're only in it for the money. Rod and Atira are something else. They were all smiles the entire time as they were cooking and serving. My two kids loved their chicken tenders! And my husband and I loved their fish and chips!!! YUMMM!!!

The best fish and chips in Mountain View & the tarter sauce is amazing! I highly recommend!

Enjoyed the delivered catfish and chips for lunch. The southern styled cornmeal crusted catfish (smallish) were crispy (perhaps a tad more robust than desired). Chips were perfectly fried and tasted great. Also sampled the cod which were not doughy, battered perfectly, again very crisp and above-average. The accompanied tartar sauce tasted fresh and well-made.

It was a little hard to find but called and got the exactly location which is behind a bar called Fred's Place in MTN View. I got the 2 piece catfish w/fries and 6 pieces of shrimp. Both were delicious and seasoned just right! It really hit the spot. Also, while you wait, you can go into the bar and have a drink if you so choose. :) I will be back!

Food truck hide away in a small parking lot. Love the energy and friendly service. Price seems reasonable. Wait was about 15 mins from ordering to receiving the food. We ordered beer battered halibut and southern style red snapper to go.The halibut was delicious, fries were spot on. Not sure if the tartar sauce was homemade or not, but it’s very good. The two stars off is cuz the red snapper was so stinky and didn’t seem fresh, which was a let down. It was disappointing from a food truck specializing in seafood. It definitely needs better quality control.I’d probably still go back at some point to try other options, but with current stats in hand, it’s a gamble.
