Amaaaazing idly sambar!
Would give this place 6 stars if I could! This is hands down, the most authentic South Indian place in the Bay Area. This place is guaranteed to satisfy any South Indian craving, from the delightfully spicy chutney, to the pongal that tastes like home, to the hot sambhar that can soothe a sore throat. Can't recommend enough!
One of the best authentic south india food Restaurant. Food is really delicious ,good quantity and great customer service.this is my favorite place to eat (especially bhimas spicy thali).
In this place, the staff does not value the personal time of the clients. However, you will not see many visitors here. They can easily confuse your order. If you are ready to wait, wait a long time - then you are here
Authentic is the word! I look forward to every Saturday when I can take out (Covid times) their Rasam and Koottu. If you can handle spice, this is for you. Highly recommended!
New branch of Tirupathi Bhimas. Awesome food, not very oily, good customer service. Special mention is kothu parotta, yumm!! Also try their special weekend meals, tastes great!
We have been visiting Tirupathi Bhimas in Milpitas for special occasions like Pongal (where the vegetarian meals were served exactly like they would serve in India in traditional manner).Unlike Tirupathi Bhimas in Milpitas, this branch in mountain view is a small. So the amount of varieties offered here are few. I have just tried Thali and the curries tasted average.Later I ordered filtered coffee, It felt like the coffee was made with spoiled milk. When I mentioned this to the manager/owner, he removed the filtered coffee from my bill and mentioned that they're just starting in mountain view.
Simple and tasty. New place. Will have to try more dishes.
Delicious Indian vegetarian food!
The food at this restaurant was average although the service was very good. It might be because of my choice of order but i will give it another try to see if it compares well to other Indian restaurants in the area.

[Please check my profile... I am a serious reviewer... Giving a one-star rating is rare, if not an impossible, act for me] We entered the restaurants after reading a bunch of reviews... looked reasonably good. The initial thought was.. it could possibly be a 4-star experience. Upon entering we discovered that it was counter-ordering-and-pickup. Okay... so, if the food is fine, this would be a 3-star experience. I even put down a generous tip on the credit card slip. Then the young woman at the counter, and the man behind her, called me back and said that for Podi dosa, the Sesame powder filling I wanted was not available. Had to switch to a Lentil powder filling... okay, it still would be a 2-star experience. After a relatively short time, they called the name on the order. The 2 dosas that we ordered looked really good.... even whipped out the phone to take the food pix... no, they are not posted, for reasons that will become obvious. Then we touched and started eating the dosas. STONE COLD... Like a pancake, a dosa is a off-the-griddle item... imagine getting a stone cold pancake. We called the woman at the register. Aren't dosas supposed to be hot-off-the-griddle? She said they were made fresh. We could sense that she had been instructed to say so. The galling fact was that the owners were absolutely nonchalant about serving us stone cold dosas. The more we ate, the worse we felt. We even considered leaving and walking across to the pizza place across the street... but it was getting close to 9 pm, we were hungry, so we somehow swallowed the food. Of course, we would NEVER return... and urge very high caution for those wanting to dine here.
