I’m a Zareen’s lover but I didn’t know this was a takeout location. Don’t come here to dine in!!!!

The one star review is because when you order curry and do not pay attention that rice is paid additionally and separately, then u will have to eat the curry like a soup. Extremely disappointing looking at the prices! Never seen a curry dish that doesnt come with rice anywhere ever.
Zareen’s is my go-to place for a great cup of chai. I also love their masala fries and mango lassi — always tasty and fresh. Definitely a reliable spot for quick, flavourful snacks.

Zareen’s in Mountain View lands at about 3 out of 5 for me. The food was good but nothing particularly memorable. The samosa was decent and ended up being my favorite item. This location is takeout only with no bathrooms or tables, which makes the experience a bit inconvenient if you plan to eat nearby. Overall it felt a little overhyped for what you get, though the flavors were fine.

Got takeout on Saturday evening. Found hair in the Gola (Beef) Kabob sizzler. Called the restaurant and there was an automated message asking to text, which was promptly answered by AI saying - ‘this is unacceptable and someone from the management team will contact us soon.’ As of Monday evening, no call from anyone at Zareen’s. Guess they don’t care about customer experience.

10/10 food.. I highly recommend the CTM (chicken tikka masala)… it is the best I’ve ever had in the Bay Area if I’m being honest. I recommend it with garlic naan.
Parking situation good/free, and the location is a great place to walk around after eating.
Mango lessi is also quite scrumptious. I do NOT recommend the zinger however.

Not quite as good as the Zareen’s in Palo Alto. We ordered the Nihari, which was flavorful but surprisingly included jalapeños. The naan was also thicker and not as soft as we’re used to. We’ve had the same dishes from the Palo Alto location and they were incredible, so we left a bit disappointed this time.
We ordered chicken tikka masala. Curry was very rich and little bit sweet which was not our liking. They added lots of smoked/tandoori chicken. Might not order again but great diff taste.

I was in the area a needed something quick. I didn't realize until I got there that Zareens is now take away only. There's plenty of seating near the parking lot.
I ordered the Punjab Chicken Burger. The flavor was good but the patty seemed to be a premade, frozen patty. The flavor was just sauce, the patty was boring.
Maybe I ordered the wrong item. There were a lot of patrons so it might have better options. I'm willing to try again.
