I've been trying different coffee shops to switch it up and find new favorites rather than the obvious chains. I would like to be able to sit and hang out while drinking my coffee; this didn't happen at Zombie Runner as it's more of a take out place (2 small tables and chairs outside with weather that is below 60, so that was not appealing). While the environment was not what I am looking for, I have to say the coffee was delicious(I ordered a basic latte with caramel) and I am enjoying it while sitting in my car (insert sad face for being in my car when I would rather be relaxing in a cozy cafe). The young lady who helped me was very pleasant and patient when I couldn't decide what I wanted. I haven't read the other reviews because I didn't want to have any expectations, but I also want to add that parking was super easy as it was right on the street in front of the coffee shop (which is attached to the Verve apartments). So, while it won't be a place that I will stop by for meeting up with a friend, I would definitely pick up a coffee to go if it was on my way to some place.

Great little spot to get good coffee drinks. And now that they have The Midwife and the Baker pastries, I like to stop for a coffee and a pastry and sit at one of the two sky blue metal cafe tables outside and pause before returning to whatever I mean to do with the rest of the day. The staff is always friendly and understands when I ask for a short cappuccino---less milk. If they had longer hours I'd stop by for an after lunch espresso.

Friendly, personable, and accommodating staff. They were able to make iced cappuccino even though it wasn't on the menu. The drinks are reasonably priced. What I got was super refreshing and cold. But they didn't overdo it with the ice either like some places do. It was a good balance and portion of coffee. I'll be coming back regularly.

Love the golden zombie. No sizes bigger than 12oz :(

Good drinks but the lack of a customer bathroom takes away from atmosphere.

Cute coffee shop next to a doggy daycare center. I got the oatmilk zombie proof coffee.. i think going off of bulletproof coffee with coconut oil instead if MCT oil. Tastes healthy and smooth. I wish they had almondmilk tho.

I am not a coffee connoisseur though I do not like Starbucks. This coffee was actually quite good. Strong and hot. Not burnt or bitter.Parking: Parking on El Camino Real is always available.

This review is just for their chai, which is awesome. I've been looking for a chai in the area that had a little more kick. So far everywhere I've tried its been the same bland overly sweet version. ZombieRunner's is spicy, ginger-forward with just a touch of sweetness. It's a little pricey, but at least its special, and they use oatmilk.

Got the ginger turmeric drink. It was very tasty and really hit the spot on a hot summer day, but just as a heads ups the specialty drinks are on the smaller side.
