Stopped by to do a tasting. Young male server poured smallest amount of pour. I asked if could pour more wine to do justice to swirl varieties. He said he'd pour more wine but he didn't do it. I asked again and server just looked at me. I stopped my wine tasting and paid and walked out. Room was empty. Server was rude and no welcoming. Thought I was in empty Napa. Never again.

Very disappointed this past weekend… had a group of 9 of us in Murphys and this was our first stop. I have been to this location prior a few yrs back and didn’t expect what happened fast forward to this past Saturday. 6 of us walked in and were waiting on the other 3 of our group to come in so we could all taste together. The younger gentleman explained how they’re the only ones who do a complimentary tasting around the area and they will waive the fee if bottles are purchased after, or we can each do the $15/pp tasting. Once we all sat down and the tasting began, the gentleman kept pouring and doing his explaining of each wine. Our group wasn’t too fond of the wine but kept going and still being friendly. Towards the end the dump bucket was quite full. Then the older gentleman who I believe was the owner came by at the end and was upset we weren’t going to buy any bottles yet we were going to pay the $15/pp tasting fee for each person. The younger guy comes back and says there was a miscommunication and I said no there was not. Some of the ones in our group were going to purchase a bottle or 2, and everyone was also willing to each pay the $15. They claimed that they went through 3 bottles total in full for our group of 9 which was quite inaccurate considering that each bottle we tried had hardly a drop of wine poured in each glass. They didn’t start pouring with full bottles for each taste. The rudeness and unprofessionalism was astounding. Considering I’ve been wine tasting in many other areas and also to different tasting rooms in that area as well as Lodi & Napa. I have never seen such rudeness and horrible customer service. The owner came up at the end and raised his voice and told us all to leave as we were all waiting to pay at the end and buy a few bottles. The younger gentleman also seemed offended when one of us had mentioned some of the reds not being very smooth on the palette (just trying to make convo). They lost our business and got $0 from us. We ended up at Pop the Bubbly after! They definitely got our business and we all bought bottles as well as food to munch on! I will never recommend or come back here to this place. Your wine is not even that good to be acting so rude and snooty, remember you’re in Murphys not Napa 😉 even then, people there aren’t half as rude as what we experienced this past weekend.

They were super busy at the end of the Saturday on Labor Day weekend, but took the time to explain their wines and grapes. Best wine tasting I've had so far! So glad we were able to stop before they closed.

We dropped in here randomly last week and I’m so glad we did! This guy is making really delicious, low-acidity wine - definitely the best of the tasting rooms we tried in Murphys. I would’ve bought a few bottles if I could’ve figured out how to get them home with me to Denmark!

Highly recommend! This was our first time tasting in Murphys and we've never tasted wine from Allegorie. I was skeptical because we generally lean towards the wines from Napa and Sonoma, but we were so impressed by the quality and value of the wines. Ellie was fantastic and guided us through a wonderful tasting.
