I love this wine produced from Aloria winery at their own vineyard overlooking New Melones Reservoir in Calaveras County. Come and meet Dave at the tasting room located across the street from the historic Murphy’s hotel. They have great tasting wines and many different varietals. They have a second label called ‘Above The Rush’ located in Vallecito. At Above The Rush, (the rushed life in the valley and Bay Area) they pair the wine with bites of delicious cheeses and herbs. Say hello to Veronica and Ryan while you enjoy your visit to our beautiful area.

I have owed Aloria a GLOWING review for years now. I've been a wine club member since 2019 and have loved every minute of it. Their tasting room is in a spot on Main Street that I always somehow glossed over before, but now this is almost always our first stop of the day. Great wines, great people (shoutout Veronica and Shalane), and super welcoming, easygoing vibes. Their sister tasting room at Above The Rush is also 100% worth a stop for some really good small-bites pairings. If you're checking out Murphy's and this place isn't on your list, do yourself a favor and add it. I usually go with a group of friends and we all have various wine club memberships in and around Murphy's, but this is the one we argue over because no one wants to share. 3 of us have Aloria/ATR memberships now :)

Had some friends in from out of town and did a bunch of fun things. The one thing they mentioned over and over again was the wonderful wine tasting at Above the Rush (sister to Aloria). They loved the friendly atmosphere, delicious wines, yummy bites that went with the wines, and the terrific service from Veronica. Will definitely bring guests here again!

This tasting room in Murphys was a favorite for us to stop by in the past years.Wine is really good always nice staff.However, due to the price increase of $18 tasting per person and an average cost of a bottle of wine @$29 ???? as locals and travelers. We will be visiting less expensive places in the future.

From their tasting room in downtown Murphys, their absolutely stunning vineyards, and their new tasting room (Above the Rush) - so much thought, care, service, and craftsmanship has been put into every detail.Rob, Sheri, Ryan, and the entire crew are knowledgeable and passionate about their products. Whether your a novice or wine connoisseur, you will fit right in. The flights and bites at Above the Rush are next level. They help you to explore the wine tasting in a whole new way. I highly recommend it.My favorite is their sparkling Syrah (Shirazzy) which is beautiful and unique as a sparkling red. It won awards along with their Tempranillo, Alborino and other unique varietals they offer. It's a small, family owned winery that truly cares about everyone who walks in their doors. Their wine club events are outstanding.Please visit them on your next trip to Murphys or go on their website to get wine. You won't regret it!

The wine is absolutely the most flavorful wine I have tasted in a very long time. They are yummy. The service was very good. Small but very quant. I sat next to the electric fire stove. However, the wine " Melbeck" was awesome.

Aloria has some great wines and a really nice atmosphere. We came home with two of their bottles, the sauvignon blanc and the syrah. Their sauvignon blanc was one of the best we have ever had and were really impressed. I would definitely recommend visiting and we will be returning for sure.
