An amazing find in Murphy's. We tried several items over two days. Great breakfast spot with super friendly staff. They are so kind. And the food was exceptional. Breakfast sandwich and a croissant. And the muffins were crazy good. It is fully worth a stop through town to get some pastries for your day in the mountains.

My salmon bagel was alright. I wanted the everything bagel but it had sold out sadly. No indoor seating. The cappucino was average. Cookies were delicious.

Delicious savory & sweet baked goods, seasonal and daily specials, great coffee and large tea selection. Also has sandwiches, soups & quiche.

The coffee and bagels were decent. The cookues were just fine. The croissants and muffins were strange-suuuuper dense and the muffins needed sugar. Expensive but most bakeries are.

Coffee is weak, pastries are hit or miss and too expensive, and the staff (Cassie all three times we've been in, so I'm sure there are great staff there too) has been super flustered and rude to us. Not great small town coffee shop vibes and not kid friendly AT all. We have started going to Gold Country Roasters down the street. They're super sweet to our kids and closer to the park.

Absolutely love this place for the last 10 years coming in many times but today we walked in to order breakfast for a family while power was out and they were friendly to everyone but us. We watched others get kind service but gaylene was irritated the minute we walked in. We asked what they offer for breakfast and if we could order a large coffee container of which set her off. As a manager I would never allow the yelling and frustration to a paying customer as she did to us today. Will think twice before coming back here in the future- such a shame. And we did let her know which she said we were too confusing asking for what they offer for breakfast.

Stopped by during a quick morning trip to Murphy's, this is a great location right downtown. It's very quaint, no indoor seating but has a few tables outside. Great spot to grab some drinks n pastries before walking around town. For drinks, we ordered a cold brew and an iced soy latte. The cold brew was good, but the soy latte was extremely milky. The espresso flavor barely came through, very disappointing! I think they didn't add enough ice, as it all melted away within the first five minutes. We chose the cherry chocolate chip scone along with the pumpkin muffin top to try. The pumpkin flavor in the muffin top was delicious, and it had the perfect amount of cream cheese frosting on it. I will say the texture felt a bit stale though. The scone was absolutely gorgeous, and was a great size. I consider myself a chocolate lover, but in this case I think there was slightly too many chocolate chips- the cherry flavor didn't come through at all and it was difficult to taste the scone base in itself. Cute place, but next time I'll probably order more carefully.

Mediocre coffee, food, and ambiance. I usually order shots of espresso over ice and have never had an issue with it, the barista prepping the drinks was extremely rude and condescendingly told me that I basically want an americano. I told her that I thought an americano had more water in it and she said that when hot espresso hits ice it turns into water. No s*** sherlock. She was visibly agitated and it made me uncomfortable and I don't know why she had to escalate it like that. I like supporting local coffee shops and it was my first time there. I overheard the cashier tell her that she had made my bf's drink wrong and she was mad and threw it out. At that point I just didn't understand what made this woman so angry and I felt uncomfortable even taking the drinks after. It was very strange. My sister got the caprese sandwich and the bread was stale. This place is not it. You're better off getting your coffee elsewhere.

Love that they have gluten free goodies. What wasn't cool was the macaroons were touching the "normal"cookies. At that point, they're no longer gluten free and having celiac I didn't get to try them. They did have a berry custard in a plastic container. That was great!!

Was in town for a concert and stopped in the morning after, what a cute lil bakery! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and my order was completed quickly. I ordered a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel, and my stars was it delicious! I mean YUMMMM! Also ordered a cookie and pastry to go, both which were tasty but that breakfast Sammie was the star of the show for sure. Great coffee as well, stop in if your in Murphys, you won't be disappointed!

Solid baked goods, and the breakfast bagel is enjoyable. Took off a star for shrill/angry service. The breakfast sandwich is made to order, but today the cashier treated me weirdly when I asked for bacon to be removed. Then I waited and observed while she kindly greeted a separate customer (who had similar ignorance to my own), but accommodated his breakfast sandwich selection without any huffing.Thank you to the bakery staff who later brought the sandwich and scone with a friendly attitude.

Cute little bakery and cafe in downtown Murphys. Giving a bonus star for great service. We stopped this morning and a group of us sampled some pastries and drinks. The results were a bit mixed.- Bacon and cheese croissant: excellent flavor.- Raspberry danish: too dense/sweet.- Cinnamon roll: good flavor, no complaints.- Latte: A little light on the coffee.- Iced green tea with mint: excellentAll of the pastries shared a problem, the dough was dense and lacked the flaky/light quality one might expect. Could be an off day or maybe their unique style. Either way, I would try a muffin, cookie or one of their breads on my next visit.

What a nasty women who greeted us just now. If the sign said “ come inside to order” we may not have waited from 10 minutes before the witch closed. She greeted my Latina wife with a very obvious racist flaire that we are all too accustomed to, in these all-Caucasian towns. I’m glad we never wasted our money here! What a shame, because the lady at the visitors center gets 10 stars!

Stopped by a couple times during our stay in the area. Nothing we had was the best pastry ever, but everything was very good. I particularly enjoyed the fruit danishes. They have a couple tables out front under the cover for you to sit and enjoy your pastry and people watch. Nice little spot!
