Blown away by how good the food is here. Coming from San Francisco where there is top quality food, I can't wait to come back here next time we visit the area. The wife of the chef even came around to ask how the food was, and our response was "you should be proud to be serving people this food." You can tell there is so much thought put into the food - we got the Mac n cheese, pulled pork sandwich and the cowboy sandwich. A++
OMFG the pork belly bahn mi is screaming. Bacon blue mac & cheese and pork belly bites were no joke either. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich and loved it. Worth the stop. Adding to this post. Had the corned beef special today and it was amazing. Look, locals if you haven't been here make the time. So worth the time if you like good food. Out of towners make sure to stop you won't be disappointed.
This place reminds of The Broken Record in the Excelsior neighborhood of SF (no longer there and really marked the end of an era when SF was still edgy without fully teetering on the edge of gross). This is gourmet, comfort food with lovingly prepared meats and sauces, served up by the hustle and bustle of Highway 4 and next to a gas station. Everything is excellent - pork belly bites, Cuban sandwich, brisket and chimichurri sauce sandwich, Spanish-style chorizo burrito - and small but well-curated selection of draft beer and some wine too (too early in the day for me to imbibe as they are open 8 or 9 AM till 3 PM so I just admired the list). Must-go place!
We had lunch here recently and I’ll just say the food here is excellent. It’s bbq on a whole different level. Some real gourmet stuff going on here. It’s a must try if you find yourself in Murphys Calif.

I really enjoyed it, pork belly was delicious! I loved that they had the covered outdoor seating, which makes it wonderful for good weather days! The owner, whom I also believe was the cook had some very good tips and conversation with fellow bbq enthusiasts. Very friendly folks! I will for sure be back!

This place is delicious. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich with a tomato soup. I tried the mustard base sauce for the pork. Definitely would order this again!!

Everything on the menu looked good so it was hard to decide. Went with the cowboy brisket and a buffalo chicken sandwich that I added pickles to. Food was out quick and was delicious! Will definitely be back!
