We had late lunch here on a Sunday in November. I got the Impossible burger and that was the last real meal I could eat for the next three days. I didn't have any other food outside of our house that day, and I was the only one from our party who had stomach problems afterwards.
Firewood had been our go-to place in Murphys for many many years, but no more. This was the last time I ate here.

Always a great experience. Can be a tad busy due to popularity. And yes - oddly for a place in the mountains - greatest fish tacos!

Mexican food and pizza. Food was decent, fresh made. Beer available. Very walkable area of Main Street in Murphys.

Counter service. Good pizza. Upstairs seating is warmer and cozier than on the main floor.

Beef in the mushroom burger was dry and barely tasted any mushrooms. The beef in the super taco dish was also dry and not tasty. Probably should have gotten the pizza based on the other reviews.

I was craving their fish and chips and had to stop by for dinner to get it. Never fails to amaze me. How well these guys take care of you. Food is always awesome. The only thing is the noise level but other than that everything is awesome. Thank you guys!

Had the nachos and others had their burritos. Everyone enjoyed their food. Staff were very friendly. Great place to stop for a bite in a really cool town.

The building is "industrial garage" with distressed tables. Order at counter, pay and they bring your food to your table. $27 for margarita pizza and 1 draft beer. The margarita pizza is thin crust style made in a wood fired oven. Unfortunately, the cheese they use is subpar. Sauce flavorless. No sliced mozzarella or tomatos and shredded basil instead of whole leaves. It misses the mark for us. Can not recommend for pizza.
Decent place to have a meal, burger or pizza? I think the pizza got the edge. Do keep track with larger orders, they might forgot some items that you ordered, at least for my personal experience. 2 unisex bathrooms and more seating upstairs. There was a faint smell of urine the last time I visited, I suspected it was from the front entrance.

Don’t let the pictures of the pizza they post fool you. It looks nothing like that. Crust isn’t risen, cheese is burnt, and has zero flavor. I’d rather have pizza from Chuck E. Cheese.
