Wife and I decided to drive two and a half hours to have coffee here and tour the area and were not disappointed. Murphys is a cute place and the surrounding areas are so pretty. The lakes and mountains nearby are beautiful. The drive was also pretty this time of year.
Now to the good stuff, the coffee! Gold Country is in a nice part of Murphys and walking in it has a warm feeling. Light colors and then you're greeted by the three friendly staff members. The coffee was great. Its flavorful and was the star of my mocha. Nothing worse than an overly sweet drink. And Gold Country didn't disappoint.

They suck! They close 1:00 PM not 2:30 as the back room where people like work is closed at 1:00 for cleaning. And people talk on their speaker phone inside and the staff says nothing. Nope never again!

Nice little coffee shop to start your day in murphy's.
Pretty good place to get some coffee. I ordered a ice matcha and it was okay. The drink had a light taste in matcha which is fine however, i prefer a stronger taste. They do have a variety of different syrups to pick from to add in your drinks. The place was clean and staff were friendly.

The coffee offerings are great, love their iced lattes. Prices are reasonably high for the area, and it’s really annoying to have hidden credit card surcharges added to the bill without them being disclosed on the menu or at the point of sale… Really good coffee though!
