Just around the corner and up the street from Hook McAllister's house.. my pal from my Lumberjack days is the Grounds Restaurant & Bar. The Hook told me the next time I'm in Murphy's he'll strap on his 19 century Cap'n Hook's hook and he'd spot for lunch at the Grounds, and said they put out a great Turkey Sandwich! And it was! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆

Excellent breakfast and great service. When we visited on a Friday morning just after 8 we were the only ones there. Omletes, potato pancakes, french toast and Belgian waffles are all delicious and worth getting. Cost is reasonable. Small, shaded patio is secluded in a courtyard away from the street with fans to beat the summer heat. Our server was friendly and efficient without hovering.
I wish we could have sat at the little bar right at the entrance. That looked like fun!! The drinks are great, and while the number of cocktails isn't huge, they range the whole gamut of flavor profiles. There's something in there you're going to like. The entrees were very good as well. Everyone at our table appreciated their main. The flavors aren't strong, if that is what you like, but they were all solid dishes. Dessert was a bit lack luster, but you're so full from demolishing every bite of your main that you don't really notice. Also, they gave me a full glass of milk to compliment my dessert, which is ALWAYS a plus in my mind. Our server was a delight, and recommended a bottle of wine that I actually liked which is VERY rare. Would definitely recommend to anyone coming to marsh's and will definitely be returning here myself.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Grounds Restaurant and Bar, especially sitting outside on the terrace. The food was delicious, and the cocktails were outstanding. It’s a great spot in Murphys with super friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service!! The waiters showed they really cared about their customers when I told them about my food allergies. They were very friendly and made the whole experience amazing. The food was delicious and they accommodated well to the circumstances of my allergies. I definitely recommend coming here and I absolutely will come here again!

Had a great taco salad, my friends had beet salad, blts and the eggplant sandwich- everyone enjoyed their meal and our server went out of their way to make us happy! Even split up the check for us with eight people- and was very professional about it!
