Great steak, cooked perfectly, on my Steak and Eggs order. Got the biscuit and gravy option and enjoyed that. Restaurant is no longer called Hillbillies.

Super cute restaurant with great food, friendly service and reasonable prices. Family friendly and casual. You can order breakfast food at lunch which is nice because their breakfast options are excellent. I opted for a side salad with my grilled chicken sandwich and was pleasantly surprised by how good the salad was (argula in the mixed greens). I stole some of the thick wedge fries from my kids and they were also delicious. My husband liked his biscuits and gravy.

We arrived and we were third in line to be seated. Two more couples came in after us. There were six free tables but we were not even acknowledged. Then the first family was seated, five minutes later still no acknowledgment. People!! We know you are short staffed and are working hard but let us sit down and explain it will be slow. We had to leave because my husband with his obvious cane can't stand that long. We went because the restaurant has new ownership and wanted to try it but probably won't go back.

This place is quickly becoming a favorite for me. I found it by accident and keep coming back. The food is excellent and the service is top notch. Hillbillies has a great country feel, very clean and you're not waiting long for your food. I highly recommend trying this place out, you will not be disappointed!

The prices, quantity of food, and friendly service make this a VERY popular eating place in Murphys. And it's right on Highwy 4. Try to go there as often as I can.

Great breakfast spot. Cinnamon roll is amazing. Huge portions and enjoyed the corn beef hash with the side of biscuits and gravy. Would return to eat again. Restaurant under new management so look for the more recent menu as they no longer have frog legs and eggs. Ok, a lot of great stuff to choose from!

New ownership and it immediately shows. Family owned and managed. Loved the omelette, but not tried their cinnamon bun. One down side, as with the previous owners..... upon entering, you are greeted with a side that advises to "Wait to be seated." That wait has invariably been several minutes, before being acknowledged, and advised to "sit anywhere". This, despite a classically loud cowbell "announcing" your arrival. It, of course, "announces" departures, but that seems worthwhile to know as well.
