So happy we pulled in, the lady gave us a free donut EACH! We tried the peach turnover, absolutely incredible 10/10. The blueberry fritter, 10/10 different to many I’ve tried. MnM cookie 10/10. Everything tastes home made, and made with love. Juice 9/10 sweet but maybe that’s just because I have feasted on all these pastries. Thanks a heap

I have been coming to The Red Apple for over 25 years and it's ALWAYS a experience with the owners and staff that keeps me coming back time and time again. I happened to read a review a person left recently regarding a walnut alergy they apparently had, stating their apple crumble had walnuts in it and they almost died. The person continued to make negative comments about the staff not notifying them ahead of time that the crumble topping had walnuts in it and to BEWARE when stopping at this bakery. They concluded with saying the staff didn't even bother to give them a refund. I feel compelled to say first and foremost, the Apple Crisp, (that's actually what its called, (this person referred to it as the Apple Crumble), DOES NOT CONTAIN WALNUTS, AT ALL, I know this for a fact because my daughter had her wedding desserts catered by the Red Apple last summer and we had the Apple Crisp as one of our desserts. We were provided with a list of all the pasteries and what ingredients were in all of them. The Dutch topping has pecans in it, not walnuts and to any person, especially a person with a nut allergy, they are clearly visible on top of the Crisp. It's rediculous to blame these sweet and very accommodating staff at the Red Apple for not asking you if you have a nut allergy, that is clearly your responsibility to ask the simple question about what ingredients are in the toppings period. The staff at The Red Apple rely on these types of reviews and tips at this establishment and a review this negative, is first and foremost untrue and not factual. The service at the Red Apple is absolutely wonderful and I sincerely hope a unfounded negative review that was based on not even one true fact, will affect their future ratings. Keep up the great service and great baked goods! We appreciate your business so much and can't say enough good things about the staff, service and pastries at The Apple. Thanks again!

We stopped by in the afternoon and it was PACKED. Came back just before closing and had the place to ourselves-and they still had plenty of options. The gal at the register was friendly and helpful. The apple donut absolutely melted in my mouth with delicious sugary cinnamon apple goodness. A little crumbly- so watch out if you're eating them in the car. Definitely worth the return stop. They also had fresh apples, pies, jams, a wide variety of honey sticks, and stickers!

Bought an apple crumble there.....starting eating it, only to find out after my throat started to swell shut because theres walnuts on it....there was no sign or anything or anyone telling me theres crushed nuts on the topping hidden in the crumble. I didn't die, but could've if I didn't puke up what I ingested! Beware!!! Crazy that they didn't even tell me and crazier that when I went back and told them they just dismissed me and didn't even offer to substitute or refund. Ill never go back there.

I proposed to the woman of my dreams just up the road at Big Trees. We stopped on our way down when I saw the hot cider sign, which I personally enjoy as a drink. When we told the staff the news the showered us in food and drink samples, all delicious to the taste. Kristin was especially helpful and beyond kind. The staff and bakery will forever be a part of a special day for me and my bride to be. We will certainly be returning!
