We stopped here on a whim last night and it was best dining experience we have had in years. The host greeted us with an amazing smile and mentioned that they were running a little behind due to them getting a large rush early on. He understood if we didn't want to wait for our main course and we said we would absolutely wait. We sat down and immediately were drawn into the quaint atmosphere. The menu was a variety of cuisines suited for any taste. Everything sounded amazing. Settled on the hummus appetizer, Ruben sandwich and the shrimp curry.Started out with a mouth watering creamy hummus with crispy pita chips. YumThen he brought the soup. It was a sweet potato soup that was so velvety and rich.Entrees came out and the Ruben had corned beef so tender it was butter soft. Shrimp curry was perfect.The meal was so amazing we talked about it the 1.5 hour drive home and honestly thought about driving the 1.5 hours back up today just for lunch.

We were in town over Labor day weekend and decided to grab lunch here. Place looked packed but we were seated immediately. We were warned though that it will take some time to get the food out as kitchen was busy. It did take a while but worth the wait. I had a good Rueben sandwich, and others enjoyed their burgers. Had a small cup of delicious chilli on the side. We saw a ghost pepper Jack cheese on the menu and were curious about it. The waitress brought us a big slice to try. Waitress was friendly and kept us updated on our order. It was a good experience overall.

Upon recommendation from a local winery we made a visit here and enjoyed the outdoor seating on a very hot day. The staff member was very friendly, helpful, and even offered a bowl of water to our dogs. The temporal battered avocado was actually very delicious. Freshly cut french fries are a good touch. And the ghost pepper cheese on the western burger sure has a kick.

Service and attention was beyond 5! The burger however did not meet the service… asked for it medium rare, got it over well done, a bit dry and missing flavors. Wished they had some local brew, had to go with National beers. So overall, I’ll say Blah ?

Decided to eat here on a day that it hit 100 degrees, in Murphys. Unfortunately the air conditioner couldn't work hard enough to cool Rob's Place (plus Rob wasn't in town, and nobody else was able to adjust the temperature). The rest of our time in town, rating the AC in each of the stores. Hands down, Rob's Place was the most uncomfortable (hottest). When Rob comes back, perhaps the diner will be somewhere in the middle of the pack.

The food was, as always, amazing. It's my favorite lunch and dinner spot in Murphys. The basil aioli is wonderful. The food is fresh and flavorful. It didn't take very long at all for our order to arrive. Daisy, our server, was an absolute delight. My fiancé and i shared a burger, and they split the sandwich for us, without our asking. It is just honestly great food and great service every time. My only complaint was that it was a little warm inside the restaurant. The ac unit didn't seem like it was blowing very well, but it also was 104° that day. It still didn't stop us from enjoying our meal.

The only way to describe the desserts here is heavenly. Tried the Chocolate Moose pie, Lemon tart, Bread Pudding and every single one of them were spectacular. Enthusiastically recommend this place.

EXTREMELY SLOW - almost 1 hour for salad, soup and burger. No offer of bread or anything while we waited. Soup was warm, arrived with dinner so probably was sitting there. Not great. Caesar salad was pretty good.

Great burgers and service here. Small, private parking lot. Short distance from downtown.Vegetarian options: Their veggie burger looked good.Parking: Small lot. Only about 8-10 cars fit.
The food and service was great!! I would have given Rob's 5 stars but many of us at the inside table had very uncomfortable chairs. The chair seat had a hard outside frame and a large sink hole where your bottom went. It was quite painful. Maybe those chairs were nice at one point, but the padding in the cushion is gone. They need new chairs.Vegetarian options: A few people in our party were vegans and they were very pleased with the options and attention given from staff to make the order just the way they wanted it.

We tried Robs for the first time tonight the lamb shanks were good and the artichoke dip and creme brulee cheesecake was excellent. Our server was super accommodating and friendly. We had a great experience. Highly recommended

I had the Western burger, salad, and onion rings, which were all very good. My wife had the ribeye steak, which came out very rare. Had to send it back for a little longer. She said it was OK, but very fatty. I also had a lemon bar for desert, yum. All it all the food was OK, but not outstanding. Our server was very sweet though.Parking: Parking was free, but a very tight lot.

Lovely atmosphere for a date. The staff is super helpful in deciding what to pick from the large wine list. Wine serving is perfect. The curry was better than the carbonara in my opinion believe it or not! (Carbonara was still delicious!)
