This bread is awesome! The crust is perfectly crunchy and the bread is slightly spongy and soft. Was worried the "very sour" would be to sour but nope- It was perfect. Hope we can get this in SF.

Best bread in town or anywhere. Do yourself a favor, excellent by itself or with some melted cheese, you can't go wrong.

I thought I was going to be hauled out of Big Trees for wearing a mask but Todd's Bread was worth standing in line with the benighted customers and pot bellied, maskless greybeard at the cash register who wet sneezed onto his hand and then plastered the palm of said hand on the counter. He did use hand sanitizer when I asked him before touching my Todd's Bread -- and I'm so glad because that bread was amazing and I will seek out Todd's bread from now until the end of time. Purchased the bread around 4 on a Saturday, so it was probably 8-10 hours old. The crust was still crispy with enough chew by the time I got home -- the interior was spongey-firm and glossy, the flavor was perfectly sour and they clearly have an amazing sponge at that place. FIND THIS BREAD!! it is manna.

No offense Murphys, but I was not expecting to find excellent local artisan sourdough out in your neck of the woods. Then I stumbled upon a loaf of Todd's double San Fran sourdough at Sierra Hills Natural Market. I just loved the perfectly crispy golden crust that encased the fluffy, sour (in a good way) bready goodness inside! So surprisingly good!
