It is my sons birthday weekend Memerial day weekend. He has been wanting Calhoun s Barbecue for a very long time. I decided to surprise him. I called in the order on Saturday for immediate pick up @ noon. They were extremely busy. Took a while for the call to be picked up, it was either busy or rang. Nonetheless I didn’t give up. The Lady on the phone who took my call suggested the Big 6. I got that and it came with Rack of baby backs, a pound of brisket, a whole chicken, and 3 hot links, plus 3 large sides of your choice with dinner rolls. Which I chose potato salad, Mac n Cheese, and Baked Beans. Apart I order a pulled pork sandwich, another rack of ribs and 3 sweet potato pie and 3 brownies (huge brownies) we have never been there before and normally make our own barbecue. But because we had gone fishing for the weekend and were somewhat near the area I decided to take the trip down. My birthday boy was delighted! His favorite hands down was the chicken and Mac n Cheese. My other boy Loved the brisket and the Hot Links, my other son took a whole rack of ribs for himself. ( why ordered an extra rack) My favorite was the hot links. My tribe said if I don’t feel like cooking we can go to Calhoun again. I agree. The value and the quality of meat was delicious. And if you ever get a chance barbecue fans. Stop by and pick up some sweet potato pie. I got a spoon full and contemplating to drive back for my own pie! Great friendly people and great food! I’ve had the ribs, chicken, pulled pork, beans and cole slaw here, all excellent and would highly recommend coming here. It is a small place and sometimes there are a lot of people here trying to get their yummy food.

I was very disappointed that they added a tip. For that reason, I will not go back.

Had my Easter catered. I can't say enough how moist and tasty the meat and chicken were. The ribs were meaty and big. They were so easy to order from and everything packaged so nicely. Everyone just thought it was the most delicious bbq ever.

Have never been until today. Let me tell you the flavor was on point. Not overly smoked goo
