My daughter ordered 2 roll specials, Michelle's Roll and Volcano Roll (no rice) and I ordered another 2 roll specials, Golden Hana Roll and Imperial Roll. As for appetizer, we ordered calamari tempura and gyoza, mango mochi for dessert.”

“Food is good. Favorite chef Iggy is great. HOWEVER... I had a very bizarre experience eating there last night... I came in about 5:30 and ordered my food - all you can eat from a sushi list menu. Everything good so far. Two other people came in separately sat in the chairs next to me. They ordered their food and ate. We talked for about an hour. The server brought me a bill which included all three tabs. I told the cashier that I had ordered individually and expected to pay for my own meal as I always do and not for the other two. The woman, who said she was the manager, told me that I could not pay individually as it was their policy not to split tabs on three or more people who were apparently together on more than two credit cards. WHAT? I have eaten there many times before, talked to others near me. This is the most absurd thing I have ever heard. There were no signs on the wall indicating that if you ate next to other people and collectively tried to pay with more than two credit cards, they would not allow you to do that. The others said they would pay their tabs on a single card. I was off the hook. As far as the manager/server goes, what kind of an intellectual genius would make up and try to "enforce" a policy like that? I've eaten there on and off for years. Make no mistake. I'm never eating there again.”

Round Table accommodated our families last minute, and they did such a phenomenal job! The food was delicious, but the service was out of this world! They made each and every one of us feel welcomed. My wife and I shared the two-pound trap and tried a half of each protein—everything was so good! I definitely recommend this place. The exterior is sort of plain and the restraunt can be a bit hard to find, but the "Now Open" sign helps. The interior is beautifully decorated, and my wife loved the 90's music they play.”

Some of the items we got fell apart when picked up. It wasn't compact enough to hold with chopsticks. That why the 4 stars. Everything else was good.”

“Hey you guys!? This is a family ran business that makes delicious boba drinks. And they have açai bowls on the menu as well for other sweet treats. I love the atmosphere and the service, because it is a memorable one. For this order, I got a mixture of Pineapple and Honeydew, (for a sweet and refreshing summer taste) and a Thai Tea. ( A rich Thai taste, with a hint of sweetness)
You can also have different levels of sweetness.

It was decent but took over 15 minutes to prepare and after checking for my order twice, you’d think they would be gracious enough to bring it to me or even tell me but I had to walk up again to see if it was at the pick up table. Overall, I’d come back for the drink as it’s something different from the usual latte.”

“I’m visiting from Oklahoma, and went with my boyfriends family. It was so good I said that had to go back before I left California to return home. I had peanut sauce chicken and orange chicken (split the two dishes between him and me). The picture taken is from the orange chicken, which I returned just to have that again. The Thai iced tea with cream is so delicious too! The orange chicken is crispy and made fresh to order making it the best I’ve ever had. This place is a treasure in the area, and worth going to as orange chicken is usually something even picky eaters will like.”

“Southern California is famous for originating In-N-Out but The Hat is equally deserving of recognition for its contribution to the Art of Roadside Food. Featuring a truly outstanding pastrami dip sandwich, each item on the extensive menu is made of the very best ingredients and is served in giant proportions. Starting in 1951, at the intersection of 3rd Street and Ford Boulevard in Boyle Heights, Maurice Maretsky and Alvin Annenberg hit on a formula that has stood the test of time. The second location, a three-window, walk-up stand, at the intersection of Valley Boulevard at Garfield Avenue in Alhambra, is still in business. The chain has grown modestly and deliberately to its current 11 locations, with each restaurant following the same, exact formula of excellent food and speedy service. Unfortunately for me, the nearest Hat is over 36-miles from my home, so I get to treat myself only once in a while (usually when I am passing by a location on the way to someplace else). Of course, I recommend the signature masterpiece on a French roll, but I also love the roast beef (either au jus or with dark brown gravy), the chili burger with mustard, or the loaded hot dog. If you cannot make up your mind, get the best of both worlds by ordering the pastrami burger (which may have originated at The Hat). A cautionary note about the fries: The "small" will easily feed four people and you better be serving a platoon if you get the large size. If you cannot already tell, The Hat gets my Highest Recommendation. It is one of the many blessings we enjoy here in Southern California.

“definitely unprofessional not ok to tell a customer that even though the person taking your order over the phone messed up your order then you call then rude employee female at 6:30 pm answer the phone saying they can resend it out but charge me delivery fee again which is not ok or how it works I worked for domino's for a few years now and we don't do bussiness like that at all its unprofessional to lie to a customer then when the customer ask for a manger you don't put them on hold for 15 minutes and you over hear the person on the phone say just great saying not professional things about the customer completely rude and employee needs written up an reprimanded for this type of behavior but the manager is going to make it right but no customer should ever have to wait 45 minutes more to get there correct order completely not ok hopefully the GM and the district manager will look into the store off bear valley in apple valley to train there employees in proper procedures and professional way to handle customer service we order all the time never have these type of issues very disappointed”
