One of Riverside best Mexican food cafes.
I absolutely love the food here—it’s easily one of my two favorite spots in all of Riverside County. Having owned two restaurants myself, I know great food and operation when I see it, and these folks are doing everything right. Los Portales Taco Shop offers a pleasant dining experience with authentic Mexican food at reasonable prices. Favorites among customers include rolled taquitos, street tacos, and rice/beans. The breakfast chorizo burrito is a standout, with homemade beans and no greasiness. The hard shell tacos, both shredded beef and shredded chicken, were full of meat, juicy, and very tasty. The chicken rolled tacos were crispy and full of meat. The service at the cash register was friendly and helpful, and the Horchata was delicious. Food is always amazing and their service is great. The restaurant is spotless and service is good. Portions are generous and prices are reasonable. Quick service and easy take-out options are also available. There's food here for kids.
