“My Mom and I regularly frequent the restaurant in Murrieta. We so look forward to seeing the amazing staff. Every time we go it feels like we are at a party. We especially love waiter Lee. He is a credit to Sizzler. He is always upbeat, fun and attentive. He makes celebrating a birthday or anniversary a really good time, and we love to sing with him to celebrate the other customers. We also want to give a shout out to Mercedes who is also one of our favorites. Then there's manager Guillermo. He is so pleasant and always present on the dining room floor. He makes us feel like family along with manager John. They are always checking in to make sure we have everything we need. The next area of excellence is the food. Always fresh, bountiful and delicious. They keep the food buffet and the salad bar immaculately clean and full. The bus staff is always keeping the tables clean once customers have left, you never see a table with dirty dishes for very long. In fact the entire restaurant is always clean including the floors. That location is really setting the standard of how all restaurant visits should be.“

“I came in for a late dinner and it happened to be pretty busy. There was only one waitress named Selenne working, but she was so on top of everything and handled every table with ease. I was so impressed (along with every other guest there) with the level of professionalism and the way she conducted. The food was great, but she really stole the show and somehow managed to make it a pleasant experience for everyone there. She has a great attitude, and seemed to just glide around the restaurant with ease, even though it was slammed and chaotic. If you get the privilege to have her as your server, you'll see for yourself. Be sure to take care of her because she will take care of you. This location is lucky to have someone like her there because as we all know, it's incredibly rare these days to go to any establishment and get this level of service, on top of the fact that it was slammed while handling guests orders for dine in there and also managing to-go orders and ringing people up. “Don't let the appearance fool you, this isn't just a strip mall restaurant. It's a stand alone restaurant that just happens to be in a strip mall. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner with American and Mexican choices. Great meatloaf, delicious omelettes, amazing albondigas soup, soul warming chili, I could go on. Coke products for the win. We visit weekly and I'm always excited to go because I know I'm going to eat well.“

“Very good-quality food at a reasonable price, and the owner is incredibly nice and welcoming. I’m normally not a big fan of teriyaki, but this restaurant completely changed my perception. The beef ribs and sliced steak were absolutely delicious, fresh, and prepared with great quality.

We ordered a lot of food and planned to take some home, but we ended up eating everything because it was just that delicious! And the sauce was insanely good—we couldn’t get enough of it.

“I’ve been to Flame Broiler multiple times and it has honestly become one of those places I can count on when I want something quick that still tastes good and doesn’t feel heavy. The food is always fresh, the portions are solid, and everything is consistent every time I go. That consistency alone keeps me coming back.

Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, professional, and willing to answer questions about the menu. You can tell they take pride in keeping things running smoothly.

The food itself is simple but done right. The chicken is always tender, the beef has good flavor, and the rice and veggies always taste fresh instead of like they’ve been sitting around. I also like that you can customize your bowl depending on whether you want something lighter or more filling. The sauce options are a nice bonus too and really make the meal.

Another thing I appreciate is how quickly the food comes out. It’s perfect if you’re on a lunch break or just don’t want to wait forever for a good meal. You can get in, order, and be eating in just a few minutes.

“The young lady on staff today was PHENOMENAL! My sandwich I ordered online was ready for pick up when I arrived. She was helping another customer and took the time to address us in line if we were picking up orders. I said yes, gave my name and she passed my order to me. She was very kind and my experience couldn’t have been better! I wish I would have gotten her name.“

“Mia, our server, was absolutely phenomenal! I genuinely haven’t experienced this level of care and consideration from a server in a very long time. As a former server myself, I was especially impressed by her dedication, friendliness, and commitment to providing outstanding service. She was attentive, kind, and clearly working incredibly hard throughout our entire visit.

Unfortunately, there was one part of our experience that was really upsetting to witness. Our table was directly across from the kitchen, and throughout our meal we could repeatedly hear members of the kitchen staff loudly mocking and making disrespectful comments toward Mia. In particular, there was a kitchen staff member wearing a grey hat whose behavior stood out. I did not get his name, but the comments were loud enough that we, as customers, could clearly hear them from our table.

I obviously don’t know everything that may have been happening behind the scenes, but from what we personally witnessed, we heard and saw nothing from Mia that warranted that kind of treatment, especially in front of guests. In fact, we watched her actively running her tables and working hard while others appeared to be standing around watching her. Despite everything we overheard, Mia remained completely professional. She never complained, never allowed it to affect the service she gave us, and continued treating everyone with a great attitude. I know I personally would have been bothered by being treated that way.

We were there on October 3rd from approximately 12:00–2:00 PM, and I felt this was important enough to mention so management is aware. Aside from our concerns about the behavior coming from the kitchen, Mia was truly exceptional and deserves recognition, and, from what we witnessed this afternoon, a lot more respect than she was being given.“
