“Yesterday, I went to pick up a to-go order and noticed that the employee managing the dining area was handling multiple tables by herself. She appeared very stressed, which I understand, and I don't blame her for being busy. My concern is that the attention given to pickup orders seemed to be overlooked.

After waiting patiently, she asked for the name on my order and informed me that they were finishing it up. However, by that point, I had already been there for nearly an hour and still had not received my food. She remained focused on the dine-in customers and later told me she would get my order right away.

What disappointed me most was the lack of communication. When my food was finally ready, it was simply left on a counter/table without anyone letting me know. The employee did not hand me the order or acknowledge that it was ready, and instead immediately returned to serving other customers.

I understand that busy shifts can be overwhelming, but all customers deserve the same level of service and communication, whether they are dining in or picking up an order. I hope this was just an unusually stressful day and that greater attention can be given to pickup customers in the future. The experience felt unprofessional, and my order was not handled with the care and attention I expected.“

“I lived in Murrieta for 7 years and today was the first time eating here in over 5 years. This restaurant has always been a hidden gem; great service and fantastic offerings with large portions. I remember always getting their country fried steak, back when it wasn't on the menu. I was happy to support this business regularly, especially during covid when restaurants were struggling. I'm happy to report today that unlike most restaurants over time, the service and quality of are still the same. Yes, the portions are noticeably smaller, and prices are little than what I remember, but it's understable considering today’s rising food prices and cost to operate a business. This a 5 star restaurant!“

“The only reason I’m giving five stars is because I want everybody to see this. This place is very dirty. Very disgusting. I came here and when I got my food, they made everything wrong and when I showed them proof, they refuse to fix my Food they don’t wear gloves when preparing the food and there is dirt everywhere and the employees cough all over the food. Do not come here it is very disgusting and very horrible. This is the worst hat I’ve ever been to I repeat do not come here.“

“Don't let the appearance fool you, this isn't just a strip mall restaurant. It's a stand alone restaurant that just happens to be in a strip mall. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner with American and Mexican choices. Great meatloaf, delicious omelettes, amazing albondigas soup, soul warming chili, I could go on. Coke products for the win. We visit weekly and I'm always excited to go because I know I'm going to eat well.“

Pricing is on par with the times right now but the portion was large. I had to take 1/2 of it home to eat for lunch today. I also want to mention the helpful and friendly service. “I’ve been to Flame Broiler multiple times and it has honestly become one of those places I can count on when I want something quick that still tastes good and doesn’t feel heavy. The food is always fresh, the portions are solid, and everything is consistent every time I go. That consistency alone keeps me coming back.

One thing that really stands out is how efficient the staff is. Even when there’s a line, they move people through fast without making you feel rushed. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly, professional, and willing to answer questions about the menu. You can tell they take pride in keeping things running smoothly.

The food itself is simple but done right. The chicken is always tender, the beef has good flavor, and the rice and veggies always taste fresh instead of like they’ve been sitting around. I also like that you can customize your bowl depending on whether you want something lighter or more filling. The sauce options are a nice bonus too and really make the meal.

Another thing I appreciate is how quickly the food comes out. It’s perfect if you’re on a lunch break or just don’t want to wait forever for a good meal. You can get in, order, and be eating in just a few minutes.
