“We didnt have a reservation but got lucky we only had to wait 10 ish minutes and they called us. We really love the pizzas here and get the mushroom pizza with the spicy pepperoni (its both called something different on the menu but thats essentially what it is) and love to pair it off with nice wine selections.
It is mostly high top seating which isnt my favorite but its fine. It is sort of cramped in there but had space enough to get by tables. Its also kind of loud in there but from general speaking noise.“

The food is excellent and some of their specials are really special, such as the Double Cut Pork Chop Milanese (Thursdays only)! The wait staff and servers they were all on point very attentive I never had to look around to look for anyone if I raised my head somebody was right at my table to find out what I needed or how they could serve me. “Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.“

“The service and the food was good, there was plenty of clients when we arrived.
The French toast with strawberries, was really good, because they don't just sliced the raw strawberries, but instead they were cooked and sugar to make a syrup making them all soft a sweet, which was very nice touch in my opinion. My eggs and chorizo with hash browns were good and in a nice portion size, I certainly enjoyed my breakfast.
But you should know that to visit this place for brakefast is going to cost a pretty penny.
2 adults and a kid added up to about 80 dollars plus tip.“

“Cool vibe, good food. Happy hour daily from 2-5 with 50% off beer and wine. My only complaint would be the table tops were sticky/dirty looking. Not from lack of cleaning, just seemed to be the varnish they used on the wood. Also, the garlic parm fries are coated in a garlic butter. Very greasy/oily. If you're not into greasy fries, steer clear. Overall though, I would recommend, and I will be back.“

“The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“

Service was polished and attentive. As someone who regularly brings buyers to Laguna Beach, I find that a meal at The Loft does more for their decision than any property brochure ever could. “What makes an excellent pizza? A great foundation: dough, sauce, and cheese. Coastline nails all three. The crust is sourdough, perfectly chewy with real character. The tomato sauce is zesty without being too salty. And it’s all topped with cheese that melts beautifully across every slice. If you want a great pizza, this is probably the best in the area.

We started with the coastal chopped salad, which was the perfect opener and a great preview of the pizza to come.

The service is top notch and everyone is genuinely friendly. At one point I was waiting at the bar for a beer that was actively being poured, and a staff member still came over to check if I needed help. A great touch that says a lot about how they run the place. Even better for beer fans: all their drafts come in schooner size.

Bottom line: if you like pizza and beer, this place is a must-visit. Coastline Pizza is our new default for pizza night.“

This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night.

They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.“

“If you’re visiting Laguna Beach and haven’t been to Splashes Restaurant at the Surf & Sand Hotel, you’re missing out on one of the area’s hidden gems. A lot of people assume you have to be staying at the hotel to eat there, but that’s not the case at all. We simply walked in, spent a few minutes enjoying the incredible ocean views from the lobby, and then headed down for breakfast around 7:10.

To our surprise, we practically had the place to ourselves. The setting is unbeatable—waves crashing just outside the windows and a perfect panoramic view of the Pacific.

The food was every bit as impressive as the scenery. I had the blueberry pancakes with Meyer lemon syrup, and they were absolutely amazing. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and thoughtfully prepared.

Between the spectacular oceanfront location and the outstanding food, this instantly jumped to the top of my list of favorite breakfast spots in Laguna Beach. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area. Don’t assume it’s only for hotel guests—walk in, enjoy the view, and have one of the best breakfasts in town. 🌊🥞☕️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

The wrap was packed with flavor, and the carne asada tacos were fresh and delicious. The chips that came with the wrap had what tasted like a slight hint of cinnamon (I could be wrong), but either way they were incredibly tasty and a great touch. The only small suggestion I would have is to maybe include a side like rice, beans, or even some tortilla chips to go along with the tacos. Other than that, everything about our experience was fantastic, and we would definitely come back again.“
