With the patties nice and thin, I should never bite into a burger that's red or pink inside. I even tell them to burn it a little bit. But that doesn't change a thing. “The food is amazing here. Always excellent. Always made the same consistent way each time we have been here. The staff is SUPER friendly and they have a beautiful dog-friendly patio. It does get really busy at lunch on Saturdays so be prepared if you come that day. Weekdays tend to be a lot slower. It quickly has become my favorite place to eat and is my go-to place now. The food is just as good delivered as well. Cannot go wrong here. Especially with the Chicken Club. Delicious. Fries are really good too.“

“Had a wonderful evening out with my wife at Ironwood Cellars in Laguna Hills. We had reservations for 5:30 p.m. and arrived early. We were greeted by Joe, the manager on duty, who was very kind, professional, and welcoming. Art was our server and is amazingly gifted in customer service professionalism and overall people skills. Yes, showing the love. We started with tequilla drinks from the bar, and we each had a wedge salad. Joe sent us over a wonderful Agnolotti appetizer as well, which was more than kind. The ambiance was positive and upbeat, perfect for the evening. Sergio was also quite attentive in making sure our table was serviced properly. We ordered our entrees with my wife having the halibut dinner, and I had the famous giant meatball dish. Both meals were hot & tasty and presented well. We had a terrific time, and Art surprised us with a complimentary dessert 🍨 with berries. The restaurant is so nice and offers an outdoor patio and bar seating as well. The wine list is extensive, as are the craft beers. Highly recommended.“

“The service and the food was good, there was plenty of clients when we arrived.
The French toast with strawberries, was really good, because they don't just sliced the raw strawberries, but instead they were cooked and sugar to make a syrup making them all soft a sweet, which was very nice touch in my opinion. My eggs and chorizo with hash browns were good and in a nice portion size, I certainly enjoyed my breakfast.
But you should know that to visit this place for brakefast is going to cost a pretty penny.

“Our first visit to Bushfire Kitchen was a great experience. My burger was delicious, and the Thai Bowl was really good as well. We also ordered the sweet potato fries, which were probably the best I’ve ever had — perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, which is hard to pull off since sweet potatoes can get mushy so easily. We’ll definitely be adding this spot into our regular restaurant rotation.“

“I use to go to RH with my family in the 70's. Atmosphere always transported us to Hawaii. They were famous for BB ribs, drinks, unique salad (with mayo dressing) and even served a bowl of crudite' with celery, salami, etc. every meal. I didn't like the modern re model, however, NOW THIS RE BUILD iS so cool! Just like the 1970's but better!! Dim lit and Hawaiian music set the mood. I was really anxious to try the ribs again. The service was GREAT appetizer excellent but, ribs, BAD! They were not edible. Hard and chewy, like beef jerky. I was so disappointed and all of our party ordered and received the same. I may try again but won't order ribs!!!“

“The Lumberyard located in beautiful downtown Laguna Beach is a great place to have lunch or dinner. There is a new $16 lunch menu and I decided to try the fish tacos. There was a choice between salmon or halibut for the tacos which included shredded cabbage with a pink cream sauce and a side of black bean and corn salad. I chose the halibut for my taco and it was cooked perfectly. It was a generous portion of fish in each of the tacos so it could easily be split with a friend. The service was excellent. Our orders were taken within about five minutes of sitting down and the food came out quickly after we ordered. I would recommend the Lumberyard if you are visiting Laguna Beach. You will need to have reservations during the Art Festivals or when there is a play at the Playhouse.“

“What makes an excellent pizza? A great foundation: dough, sauce, and cheese. Coastline nails all three. The crust is sourdough, perfectly chewy with real character. The tomato sauce is zesty without being too salty. And it’s all topped with cheese that melts beautifully across every slice. If you want a great pizza, this is probably the best in the area.

We started with the coastal chopped salad, which was the perfect opener and a great preview of the pizza to come.

The service is top notch and everyone is genuinely friendly. At one point I was waiting at the bar for a beer that was actively being poured, and a staff member still came over to check if I needed help. A great touch that says a lot about how they run the place. Even better for beer fans: all their drafts come in schooner size.

Bottom line: if you like pizza and beer, this place is a must-visit. Coastline Pizza is our new default for pizza night.“

This Finneys location is particularly enjoyable, being one of the only 'watering holes' in Laguna, comprised of 30% locals every night.

They have great bar tenders overall, however there is high turnover. You'll be lucky if Kelsie is at the bar to serve you. The group of locals that rack it up 6-7 days a week were extremely disappointed to learn that she is temporarily only working 1 day per week. She contributed greatly to building the community here and its unfortunate that I won't be seeing as many locals as a result.“

“This is your local neighborhood grill. You order at register and they bring out your food. Friendly staff, lots of booths, mounted TV's, outdoor seating tables and chairs. Menu has full breakfast, lunch and dinner options. (Salad bar was removed during Covid and has not returned) This is not an avocado toast and latte place. (Though I do love avocado toast.) My husband LOVES their breakfast burritos.
There is also a drive through window. Note: weekends can get busy at breakfast. There are several larger booths than can accommodate 5 to 8 people.“

“Had a nice evening at Dominicos on the lake this evening. My wife and I had reservations and were fortunate to ask Kory for a patio table which he accommodated. Michael took us to our table and was very kind and professional. Pedro came by with our bread and water and said hello. He is one of the hardest working individuals at the restaurant. Eddie our server came by and took our orders with a bottle of Austin Hope and bread to start. My wife ordered a chicken breast salad and I had the chef's special stroganoff which was amazing. Unfortunately my wife's salad came out 30 minutes after my stroganoff which was a cardinal sin in the restaurant business and we mentioned it was not acceptable. Eddie apologized and we also had Steven, the GM, come by and also apologize and ensure the salad would be out shortly. The salad was delivered, of course after I ate my entree and Steven dropped off and apologetic gift certificate for an appetizer during our next visit. We also ordered an additional beef stroganoff plus an order of meatballs to take home for tomorrow. We undertake things happen and it's certainly nice to see the restaurants busy again but a party of two receiving their entrees 30 minutes apart is not conducive with quality service. I am guessing the chef either misplaced the order or overlooked the obvious and we hope next time we will not have such issues as the restaurant is very good and in a fantastic location. Michael also came back around and stated he was concerned about this mishap and would look into this. As a retired government administrator and former restaurant manager in my college days I expect the simple things like entrees being delivered at the same time to be in sync with quality service and dining. We will be back and see if in fact this was an isolated incident. Good food and ambiance plus. “This Marriott hotel eatery felt calm and open, with valet service right at arrival. The space had a relaxed, airy energy, especially on a quiet Wednesday night.

Our attendant was kind, present, and made the entire meal feel smooth. Dishes arrived quickly, which we liked, as a few noisy kids were running around.

The food was truly pleasing. The sprouts had rich flavor, though a little oily. The thin-crust pizza was great for sharing, with plenty of tasty toppings. The star of the night was the ocean fish—cooked to perfection and paired extremely well with the greens on the side.

I would return again, especially if friends stay at the hotel.“

“Very long wait times. Terrible customer service and overall, one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The waiter messed up our order and argued with my wife about how he did not mess up the order and continued to argue with my wife, which further upset me and my parents. I asked the waiter to leave and requested to speak with the manager. I had explained everything to the manager and told the manager that because the food came out wrong and the waiter argued with my wife, that it was time to go because the waiter ruined our meal and our experience. After paying for 3 meals that we did not eat, the restaurant manager was extremely rude, told us to leave, and to never come back. We left very angry and upset. This restaurant ruined our entire afternoon. I do not recommend this restaurant because of the terrible customer service. If you make a mistake, own it, and make it right. Not the case here, they just want your money and send you on your way as fast as possible. If you’re looking for a nice dining experience there are far better options than this place.“

“We used Terrace Kitchen to cater our wedding and we were so impressed with their service. The food was amazing, served nicely and quickly for such a big wedding. Their staff were all very efficient and proactive with serving drinks and clearing things. The whole venue was kept very tidy throughout the day. Claudia was who we worked with to organise everything and her communication was great, so made everything very easy and nothing was a problem for her to change or organise. Thanks for helping up pull off a perfect day!“
